Those last 2 blows landed were borderline disturbing, for not having a major cut or Anderson Silva-esque a broken bone. No reason the ref should've kept that going to that point.

they came pretty fast though. had he stopped it before those 2, it may have been seen as an early stoppage (especially for the hometown hero in the main event). then those 2 blows came very quickly, and the ref acted as quickly as he could have, in my opinion.

I was reading an article that said there are women who are as quick as Rousey, and there are women who are as strong as Rousey, there just aren't any that are both. It's almost to the point that there isn't anybody at her level that can compete with her. Maybe Kat could have given a good fight, she probably shouldn't have come at her with a kick right off the bat.

My buddy said the same thing about Kat rushing her, however, no one had ever done that before, so while it was risky, the potential reward was high. With some like rousey, you have to try unorthodox things to get her off balance. Had rousey avoided the other way, we might have had a different outcome.
