Last Tuesday it was 94% but it was a good week for Dead Man Walking and I decided that I do indeed love it.

There are only a few songs I don't particularly care for:
    Yellow Ledbetter
    Last Kiss
    Marker In The Sand
    Force of Nature
    The End
    Sirens

Pre-2000 I'd say the only songs I really don't like are Stupid Mop, Present Tense, and Wishlist. However 2000 and beyond is a different story.

I claim all of them except Hey, Foxymophandlemama (That's Me), and that 2004 Xmas Betterman with the kids.

It is very interesting to see peoples opinions on this thread.
Especially the ones that say they like 100% of PJ songs. I just wonder if they would play Foxy to a friend and say "hey listen to this I like it".

That is hardcore to like 100% of songs from one band.
There are PJ songs I can't stand, but I like Foxy Mop!

some of you need to adjust your percentages as some of the songs you're mentioning are covers.
    I miss igotid88
  • I would say I like about 80 percent. I can think of a handful of songs that I wouldn't mind not hearing again! %-(

I like Foxy Mop. Not something I listen to a lot but it's a cool different jam. And the first recording with Jack Irons I believe.

Love it all it's a journey you know, have my favourite albums but they change in time, it's a evolution in process, live songs like rearviewmirror and porch come into their own. It's hard to dislike any song, I write songs myself and realise its a very personal experience when creating the song and for a popular band it takes some guts to put it out to millions of people thumbing my way as an example ...the real test is live and I've never stood there like a popular magazine critic and thought um not so good..every live experience has been transcendental , it's just rock n roll..........,,

I like that about them, so many different songs, songs for everyone.
I do like foxymop. I think about lines from that "song" quite a bit. It is creepy though.
I think leatherman is one of the worst songs ever.

They've released 10 records. One is pretty much garbage so subtracting that but adding Lost Dogs and other B-Sides I'd put myself in 90% easily. I have no idea why someone in the 60's would be on here but hey, whatever works.

Because the songs I do like tear me apart, and they are incredible live.
    I cannot stand pilate.

I think for me it's way up over 90%. I actually like foxy mop in a weird kinda self-punishing sorta way. Whenever I listen to it I get so freaked out. So creepy. I really dislike future days. It's probably the only pj song I say that about. Amongst the waves gets pretty close to dislike for me too. I appreciate the lyrics. It's just too predictable and.... Idk I can't describe it. Just rubs me the wrong way.

    Let's work this out "aloud"....

    - Ten is 11 out of 11 (or 13 out of 13 if I sneak in Breath and SOLAT) for songs I like.
    - Vs is 12 out 12
    - Vitalogy gets tricky. 10 out of 10 for "proper" songs 12 out of 14 if you start mixing in the "stuff."
    - No Code: I like 10 out of 13 songs. No need to name the three I dislike.
    - Yield: 10 out of 12 for "normal" songs. Do I even count Red Dot and Hummus? Nah. And where does the beautiful "Untitled" fit in?
    - Binaural: 10 out 13
    - Riot Act: 12 out of 15
    - Self-Titled: 7 out of 13
    - Backspacer: 6 out of 11
    - Lightning Bolt: 8 out of 12
    - Lost Dogs: 17 out of 30 (I've removed the two covers and replaced them with Leatherman and Angel)
    - Merkinball: 2 out of 2
    - MOTH is good. Ole is not. Of the Earth is okay. Just a Girl has never grown on me.

I've probably overlooked something but for now I'm looking at 120/165=73%.

I would have thought it would have been higher.
