Is the question how many shows, or how many bands? Because then we will have to debate about what constitutes a "show" :D I count one festival day as one show, and opening act(s) plus main act as one show. I don't count band appearances at late night shows like Jimmy Fallon at Letterman, unless it's a Live at Letterman taping.

I've clearly thought about this a lot!

Don't see them in the same genre as Arcade Fire or OFF.

Cool to see variety though. I like that. Kind of like TV on the radio. Very different from the rest too.

Pearl jam once, Headstones 5 times, and a bunch of local acts. Pretty lean concert year for me.
Edit: black keys as well, and Randy Bachman, Matt Epp and others at a songwriters circle.

Damn, jealous of a lot of y'alls shows. I had a weak year but stand outs were QOTSA, Shovels & Rope, Drive-by Truckers, J Roddy Walston & The Business, and Jack White. I worked a ton of shows too and from what little I saw Garth Brooks and Paul McCartney were pretty awesome. I actually had my name printed in the PM tour program, pretty cool.

Also, I didnt know that setlist.fm could be used that way!

Yeah, the concert tracking is the main reason I joined. It does count each band at a festival as a different show, so it's kind of over-estimating I think. It was 83 artists, over 21 days (i think). There were 3 weeks in June where I attended 9 festival days so that really brought the total up.

Lol many of these are comp tickets from internships/volunteer work. Also some are gifts, as for the rest, concerts are the main thing I spend big $ on, very frugal otherwise :)
