I have a Bunch of pj memorabilia that is framed. This collection is not for sale. But I always wondered what kind of value it has. I worked hard acquiring my collection, and m proud of it. Mostly shows I attended from 2005- present. Here is what I got:

2005 gorge- framed- an evening with pj
2006 dc reaper- framed- double Matt black nd silver
2005 Philly blue, green, silver- sweater Kinney
2004 showbox- swoosh crow - double Matt red frame
2008 Ed Veda solo dc Warner theater with tickets- double Matt aqua blue frame

Again, not for sale or trade. Just wanted to share

Thnx

Framing is personal, so what you might like others may not. I paid 1k for a print, framed or unframed. Bought it framed. I'd rather deal with taking the print out. Frame was so so.

Agree with poster above. Framing is subjective. Plus a framed poster makes it much more difficult and expensive to ship if you decide to sell. I don't see it adding a lot to the value. I've bought framed posters that were good deals and bought new frames. Even though framing is expensive I don't see it really bumping up the value too much. Most people would rather pay less for an unframed print and then save up the cash to get it framed to their taste down the road.

Some people come here selling their framed posters and say "I paid $300 on the frame alone", so they want to get whatever the poster is worth plus the expensive frame... 99% of those deals end up with the owner keeping the $300 frame and selling the poster alone.

I would never sell a framed poster. I don't frame posters that are not displayed in my home. All else are fair game.....

a frame adds nothing unless the buyer digs the frame as much as the owner. I find that highly unlikely but im sure from time to time it happens. I only ever bought one poster framed - came smashed and dry mounted.
