    All stores should be closed on major holidays, close at noon Saturday and closed on Sunday. This will reduce crime and make our society a nicer place.

    Ever visit any other countries? They don't have the 24hr business mentality that we have and they get along fine. I live near Amish country where tourists come to spend their money on fine handmade products and cheapo trinkets, they close early and don't open on Sundays and they do just fine.
    I love Mitch Hedberg's thing about this.... "I walked past a dry cleaning place at 3 in the morning, and the sign read, sorry, we're closed. Dude, you don't have to be sorry. It's 3am, and you're a dry cleaner's. It would be ridiculous of me to expect you to be open"
