Those that have been here a while know I don't put up negative posts. So for me to say something means it's pretty bad. I doubt I get anywhere with my email to him but I had to at least try. Hope everyone else's print was shipped in a better manner and arrives undamaged.

How was it trashed? Did the colors run or did it have lots of creases? I get nervous with international mail even if it is coming from Canada. I drove home during lunch yesterday just to make sure the mailman didn't leave it out when it was raining outside. Sorry that happened and hopefully Frost will make it up to you by sending you a new one.

It was shipped in a very small/narrow/thin tube. You can squeeze it and it will easily flex/distort. Nothing like the 10C or other artists use. When I picked the tube off my front porch I could tell it was damaged. The poster has multiple creases from being rolled and where the tube was bent the poster has severe creases/damage to the point ithey went through and broke the ink/color.

For those who received damaged posters did you hear back from Ben Frost?

If you didn't get a shipping notice you might want to contact him. I got a trackng number but my friend didn't so things definitely were not done consistently. My guess is he wrapped and shipped all the posters himself and he was a little overwhelmed getting them out quickly. The handwriting of the return address looked like an artist.

Now I'm concerned. I will be very unhappy if damage is the result of poor packing and cheap materials.

Just got an e-mail reply from Ben Frost saying that if I return the damaged poster he will replace it.

Hopefully Ben will get the hint and improve shipping for any that haven't gone out yet!!

I don't even have a shipping # for mine yet. Maybe I'll be lucky and he'll upgrade the packaging before sending...

After reading all of the horror stories of deliveries w/ damaged posters, I opened mine and unrolled it. I had zero issues with it and it's in mint condition. The tube seemed fine as well and didn't have any indications of dents.

I'm guessing the issues happened during shipment. Mine looked as if they were packed with care, but I'll agree I squeezed the tube with the poster out and it is too flexible and not crush resistant.

Yesterday...

He was sending them out in batches. Mine shipped in the second batch. I received a shipping notice last Tuesday and it delivered a week later. I never had access to a tracking number though and I used the code for free shipping from stupidkrap.com....

#61 was delivered to my house today, and I lucked out. Mine is in perfect shape with do damages to speak of. Hope everyone that had theirs damaged can get replacements. Cardboard tube is definitely thinner than any I've received posters in before, so I can see how some mishandling by someone could wreck 'em in a hurry.

With every day it takes to get here, I keep envisioning the delivery guys using the tube as a fake lightsaber in the warehouse.
