I am getting my first ukulele for Christmas and I am already in love with it, though I don't know which one one lol
Also, I work for the company that makes Snapple and now that I have tried it, and get it at discount, the Apple variety is producing copious amounts of oxytocin in muh brain!

And I hope this isn't inappropriate but that gave way to a thought of Pandora and some of what she wrote in the poetry forum.

I think she would've been all over this thread :D

    Wowza!

I'm betting they both had some nice memories. Bless her for helping him through his end-days.

There must be more to life than this
There must be more to life than this
How do we cope in a world without love
    Mending all those broken hearts
And tending to those crying faces?

There must be more to life than living
There must be more than meets the eye
Why should it be just a case of black or white?
There must be more to life than this

Why is this world so full of hate?
People dying everywhere and we destroy what we create
People fighting for their human rights
But we just go on saying c'est la vie, so this is life

There must be more to life than killing
A better way for us to survive
What good is life? If in the end we all must die
There must be more to life than this

There must be more to life than this
There must be more to life than this
I live and hope for a world filled with love
Then we can all just live in peace

There must be more to life
    Much more to life
There must be more to life
    More to life than this

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And so I say to you today that I still stand by nonviolence. (Yes) And I am still convinced [applause], and I'm still convinced that it is the most potent weapon available to the Negro in his struggle for justice in this country.
And the other thing is, I'm concerned about a better world. I'm concerned about justice; I'm concerned about brotherhood; I'm concerned about truth. (That’s right) And when one is concerned about that, he can never advocate violence. For through violence you may murder a murderer, but you can't murder murder. (Yes) Through violence you may murder a liar, but you can't establish truth. (That's right) Through violence you may murder a hater, but you can't murder hate through violence. (All right, That’s right) Darkness cannot put out darkness; only light can do that. [applause]
And I say to you, I have also decided to stick with love, for I know that love is ultimately the only answer to mankind's problems. (Yes) And I'm going to talk about it everywhere I go. I know it isn't popular to talk about it in some circles today. (No) And I'm not talking about emotional bosh when I talk about love; I'm talking about a strong, demanding love. (Yes) For I have seen too much hate. (Yes) I've seen too much hate on the faces of sheriffs in the South. (Yeah) I've seen hate on the faces of too many Klansmen and too many White Citizens Councilors in the South to want to hate, myself, because every time I see it, I know that it does something to their faces and their personalities, and I say to myself that hate is too great a burden to bear. (Yes, That’s right) I have decided to love. [applause] If you are seeking the highest good, I think you can find it through love. And the beautiful thing is that we aren't moving wrong when we do it, because John was right, God is love. (Yes) He who hates does not know God, but he who loves has the key that unlocks the door to the meaning of ultimate reality.

Of the three there, I'm enamored of two.

When I think about it, so strange to feel affection for strangers.

Then when I think more of it, I let it go, let it in, and try to let it all just be.

(also makes for a bit more settled soul and a fairly decent night's sleep)

Not always successful but fuck me if I try! Half the road I suppose.

    So I found this. I wrote this after I discovered that the love of my life, (or I thought he was.., I was really stupid back then...) had been cheating on me with my nemesis.. Yes I had a nemesis.. It crushed me, as you can see by the words I wrote.. Sadly I still feel this way...;
    Ashes to Ashes
    There are worlds; windows,
    That I will never see.
    From deep inside the shadows,
Of that the sin that bore me.

    Carved in flesh; creeds,
    To soothe the rage inside.
    Ashamed of such void deeds,
    Several scars I hide.

I am NOT what you wanted,
    Until now, I never knew,
    The pain if being haunted,
By the wicked things you do.

It is my right to die,
This means the world to me.
It shouldn't matter to you 'why?',
Cause your lies have set me free.

    Labyrinth; sickening maze,
    Wicked halls of shame.
    Crooked smiles ignite the blaze,
Which of you do I blame?

    Glimmering razors; destinies,
    Crimson rivers flow.
    The blade releases memories,
    I wish I didn't know.

If you wish to know the truth,
    What rages on inside?
Then that is what I share uncouth,
For I have nothing to hide,

    Your secrets warranted lies,
My love you chose to bury.
I chose this death; not picking sides,
    But now forever wary..

    Memories of hate and love,
    Indiscreet visions devide.
I gave in to the the pain of love,
Now, for loss of love I died.

I could never hold your hand,
    My love was always true.
I was drowning in sinking sand,
    And never had a clue!

    Fantasies, dreams; all held in,
    Grimm Reaper hear my cries!
Could he have loved me without this sin?
Or was my love for him my demise?

Visions of the now, and the past,
    Dancing; they have intertwined.
I never guessed this wouldn't last,
    This wasn't what I'd designed!

For him I'd given my all,
Over loss of him I wish to die!
But rising up, I refuse to fall,
For now I know that love's a lie!!

    Ugh I hate that fucker!!

This is the experiences I get with love..

To my mistakes, to my mistakes of cowardice
She shimmy shakes, the jimmy jakes of consequence
Born of the airs and dues, my airs of madness do declare
    That it's ok, it's love
It's what you wanted to see, it's who you wanted to be
For what you needed to need, she'll make it up
    Love, it's who you know
Machine gun blues, her vacant rush is so steel
I'm unaware, lost inside your visions
I got mine too over, I got mine and I got you
Cause I know you, you're love
It's what you wanted to see, it's who you wanted to be
For what you needed to need, she'll make it up
    Love, it's who you know
Can I look up to you as you look down on me
Can I feel in to you as you felt in to me
I can't help what you see, I can't help but to be
For what I needed to need, she'll make it
    Love, it's who you know
