    The lines in are too thick on the waves, there's a bunch of fakes on the black 06 picks.

    That seller has been listing a pick a week (on average)... just do yourself a favor and assume they're all fake. If they're selling mostly fakes you have to assume the ones you can't tell for sure on are also fake.

    I've never delved into the world of collecting picks. Can the experienced folks give us laid back country folk some education on deciphering with certainty a guitar pick that Pearl Jam used on stage vs one that has never been within a dogs wagging tail's distance of the band? Discogs helps us with official album sales... where's the Pickogs site??

    There's no a website for that kind of stuff, but I would help and other fans would too, you just have to ask. I have a database but is not public, but I've shared it with a few friends here, I don't make it fully public because some people may abuse it or use it to bootleg the picks.

    Arq/Jose is the authority on all things pick related. Another way to guarantee that your pick is not fake is to buy one from him! ^:)^

    trés cool. Thanks arq. I don't think I'm gettin involved in the pick market. I'll leave em for y'all :) Just interested in the depth of knowledge / school of thought on Peter Piper Precisely Picked a Plastic Pearl Jam Pick out of Plenty of Phakes.

    I got 5 picks from Mikee and 2 from vedder 100% real cuz I got them at the show. Don't have a clue about pick collecting or what they're worth lol
