people need to learn how to mind their own fucking business around here. and the reporting people nonsense makes me feel embarrassed for anyone that would run and tell on another over a post.nycrats said:

Not sure why you have to give people such a difficult time for trading posters for tickets. Its rather subjective wouldnt you agree? Especially for a brand new poster, who is anyone to say what the value really is. Early ebay auctions are often fake too by sellers trying to "print a level" and profit later on by making the market seem richer than it is. Just think about this next time you report people for trying to make, in this instance, a potentially mutually beneficial trade.0 -

Actually if you knew anything about the board rules you know it's everyones business because as the mods have stated before if people keep ignoring the rules we won't be able to sell or trade on here at all anymore.UBC 92, Vancouver 93, Vancouver 98, Seattle 02, Vancouver 03, Vancouver 05, Gorge 06, Gorge 06,Seattle 09,Seattle 09, Vancouver09, Montreal 11, Toronto 11,Toronto 11, Vancouver 11,Vancouver 13, Seattle 130 -

if you knew anything about the rules you wouldn't have been trying to "sweeten the pot" for a GA swap in Seattle. I see you've come full circle....Horse2345 said:rustneversleeps said:

Lol, yep i offered a backpack, then someone explained that it was current market value so i withdrew the offer.
FYI i had several offers but turned them down when i was told it was not allowed and ended up trading one Van for one Seattle.

Point is, bickering aside, butting in on highly subjective poster for ticket trades is really annoying. If its reasonable and both sides are happy, great. There is no authorative kelly blue book for posters that says exactly what the usd value is at any space and point in time. Its even more difficult to determine for posters of that current tour. They go up, they go down, the initial flurry is hardly indicative of eventual value. Just look at this example of that imo very poor detroit poster: a few people may have jumped and paid up because of small edition but because its just a poor poster to the masses it has plummetted after the first few days. Even now, whats it "worth"? If 5 people list them on ebay and eb for 200 but no one buys it, whats it really worth? What will some actually pay for it? If you see someone trading a poster for a ticket, provided its not an original monet for ga tix, let both parties be happy about their trade.
And were presumably all adults here, theres no need to be a tattle tale just because you may not like the trade. Let it be.....'98: Camden 1 '00: JB2 '03: MSG1 '04: Boston 1 '05: AC1

I agree that values can be subjective but i didn't make up the rules. I didn't tattle tale on anyone i simply pointed out the rules like someone kindly did to me when i first tried to trade tickets. Apparently a lot of people don't understand what the rules mean so they are pointed out, because as the mods have said several times ALL trading will be banned if people keep breaking them.nycrats said:Point is, bickering aside, butting in on highly subjective poster for ticket trades is really annoying.
