No relay Chi II?

Just heard from my sister who got upgraded to front row (!!!!!!!) was hoping to follow along with a relay. Anyone lined up?

    congrats to your sister! while it'd be great to see what gets played as it happens, if i was her i'd just sit and enjoy the show :)

    I was going to write why don't you just have your sister text you the songs, and then I realized, if I was in front row tonight in Chicago, I doubt I would be checking my text messages.

    ha - would be great to picture her relaying from the front row...probably would ruin the experience...she can't text me in Canada anyway for some inexplicable reason

    Just got a call...Liam's set is done...not much to report save and except he didn't play Old Man in his set - eV Chicago poster seems to be selling well - she said it appeared they were almost sold out. Doubt I'll hear anything else until after the show.

    It is strange though, I specifically remember seeing Bjork at the Auditorium theater 5/07 and texting a little bit with a friend that I wasn't sitting with, we didn't have a problem. That show was amazing!

    And I love y'all on this board, I really do, and I would be happy to relay sometime, but from the front row? No way! Would just look like rudeness to the performers I'm sure. Awesomeness for your sister.

    Does anyone have info on how or why Ed's people are going to the upper level and bringing people to the front row. How do you get upgraded to the front row when you are in the building. Just curious.

    The 4th level at the Auditorium Theater looked really high and scary last night. I met a guy at the bar who said it is against the fire code, but was grandfathered in because it is a historical site. So...here's to those who are risking their life at the show tonight : )

    The "ticket fairies" have been at all the EV East Coast shows doing deeds of goodness and upgrading those with tickets in the "less desirable" seats of the venue to the front row. In some cases they go up to the highest peaks of the venue and select people for upgrades. In other cases they're out in the lobby before the show approaching random people to upgrade...they're the "ticket fairies" what else can I say!
