Maybe Ed will write a song about Obama and pour wine into an Obama mask on stage. You know, just straight pissed about his environmental failures. That would be such an extreme song I would snap my own neck in a mosh pit of 1 over it.

It seemed like Howard was just about to ask some more questions about Neil and Eddie right when Baba Booey came in the studio to tell them Neil had to go. Wish they had all morning to talk, as it sounded like Howard only scratched the surface on what he wanted to get to.

His political comments largely were based on corporations having too much power in our government and that he was very disappointed in our President for not being more of a leader when it comes to protecting the environment. I have been an Obama supporter, but I would agree with Neil on almost everything he said. If he wasn't born in Canada, I'd say Neil should run for POTUS!

All that said, that was one incredible interview. Howard is the man!

I really miss Howard's interviews. I think he does a great job with musicians when he plays it serious.

Great interview. Howard and Marc Maron are the best interviewers around. I wish Eddie or any of the guys would make an appearance.

Good. Obama sucks. Couldn't manage a Dairy Queen.

...or a baseball team for that matter...

Obama is a great success and the ACA is one of the greatest achievements in America in the last 50 years.

I simply don't understand how anyone can think otherwise. Even Krugman thinks so....

    What success might look like:

Obama Beats Romney’s Campaign Promise Of 6% Unemployment In Half the Time

How about instead of making snarky comments, you actually let us know what the 'leadership' on the right has accomplished. Besides obstructionism, which is by definition, the opposite of accomplishment.

Wow, quoting the Daily Banter...SMFH, a very reliable left leaning publication. What that figure lacks is the amount of unemployed who are of the govt. Programs. Real unemployment is much higher

I too shall jump into this muddy political pool!

    *swan dives*

I look at politics - politicians - as I do anyone else. Fuck your party, fuck your skin color, fuck your religion, fuck your sob-story, fuck your easy-street, fuck whatever bubble you live in.

Show me your character if you've got some. Don't claim to have honor, credibility, hope, integrity, compassion, drive.

Show it. Demonstrate it. Act upon it.

And do not attempt to blow smoke up my ass. It's not something that can be done (or received) subtly or surreptitiously. The blower is always exposed.

(and the blowee is always pissed)

Anyway...this is a good song, no?

    Yeah.

Obama sucks. To call him a great success is honestly laughable. What does Bush and all former right wing leaders have anything to do with the simple fact that Obama has failed as a president? And this isnt coming from a radical Righty, seriously some of you guys need to look at things unbiased the guy is a horrible president and people from both sides need to see this. Its time to move on from Bush's shit presidency and start moving forward. Blaming the past on everything solves absolutely nothing.

You opened a can of worms in this thread. Only articles from Rolling Stone I've liked in my life was the PJ article years ago and how Wall Street is rigged, but I always assumed Wall Street is like gambling in Las Vegas.

I never believed all this fairy tale about Obama, just another politician. I never trusted Bush 43 either. My philosophy is for the politicians to just leave me the hell alone and stop screwing over the regular person.

This thread should not be in this forum.

Its time to move on from Bush's shit presidency and start moving forward. Blaming the past on everything solves absolutely nothing.

Here's a list of 250+ things that Obama sucks at: http://pleasecutthecrap.com/obama-accomplishments/
Oh God...Yknow what its not even worth it. I go here to talk PJ not radical liberalism. You win Obama is the best. No I take that back Jimmy Carter was the best.

See...if we could get past the win/lose, he sucks/no YOU suck, I'm better/fuck you no way I AM! mentality...

    Maybe shit could be accomplished.

Maybe meetings of the minds could happen, even begin to happen, based on common sense, decency and accountability. Open-mindedness.

Not in the "hey, everyone's a winner!" way. Just honestly, PC be damned. Fuck gold stars and agendas.

People should speak their minds. It's incumbent upon each of us with opinions, considerations.

Don't agree? Do agree? Not sure? Fine! Welcome aboard! State your case or linger awhile with your toe in the water or move along or not.

I just don't get taking a steamy shit on anyone else speaking their mind same as the rest of us lot.

I hope Ed comes out and criticizes him as well. Obama has been a major disappointment.
After the 2008 elections he had the knuckle draggers where they belonged and let them slip out.
No such thing as two parties anymore. Just two puppets keeping the public's eyes off the real things going on. anyway nuff said.
I will save the rest for AMT.

Couldnt be more true. Glad people are starting to realize he's no fuckn messiah and can only go so far with blaming Bush.
