My wife, not the biggest PJ fan but still a fan, cant grasp the merch madness. And shes right. A bunch of 40 year olds going nuts over stickers, shirts, coffee mugs, etc. But yeah she was pretty stunned/disgusted at the PopUp shop. And who can blame her? It's insane. We rolled up just hoping for a tshirt in my size. People were leaving with their arms wrapped around merch, almost bending over

I dont think PJ is the new Grateful Dead. I think they're the new KISS

Can anyone tell me the prices for the S/N prints for Munk One's Detroit posters? I accidentally deleted the email and deleted my trashed emails

  • The band cant be faulted for selling merchandise.

They are playing 3 and a half hour shows. There are no $750 VIP tickets to their shows like every other band. And they mix their setlists up nightly.

They are hardly KISS. McCready should be proud.

    * And the stickers were specifically produced and marketed to target the growing 'young fan' base. They were designed to fit lunch kits.

What was the Memphis outside merch trailer experience like?

Late response but anyway. FWIW, everything was going fine with the queue for the march trailer up until I was about 5th or 7th in line. To put it into context I started queuing about 45 mins before the 1pm opening of the trailer and then queued for about another hour to get close to being served.

Suddenly word started drifting back down the single queue that had been formed from the beginning that we needed to form a new queue to the right of the original queue, specifically for posters, stickers and buttons. Reason was that they had run out of these items at the trailer and was going to bring more out from inside the venue so to keep things moving for anyone that just wanted shirts, they could continue to buy these. So far so good - in theory.

The reality was that this caused quite a bit of confusion as word was slow getting passed back down the queue and people suddenly rushing in to form this new queue meant that folks who were close the front of the original queue but didn't catch on quickly with the new arrangement suddenly found themselves back further in the queue. That's gotta pi** you off.

The real kicker was that after a short while, they started selling EVERYTHING to the folks in the original queue again, which was now significantly smaller because of their request to form 2 queue but now included people who just walked up either from further back or elsewhere and could get served within a few minutes. Hardly fair if you ask me.

I still managed to get what I wanted at the end but it was just an unnecessary long wait because of poor arrangements made on the fly.

    Ok rant over.

really like its simplicity - doesn't take much but its one of the better designs this tour. Harks back to the plain style retro 98 prints
