    :))

I liked this guy back in the day. Don't Say No was a staple cassette along with Tattoo You and Foreigner 4.

You guys don't get it. I wake up one morning and find U2 on my phone. I'm like wft. I didn't download it. Nor am I savey enough to know how to delete it. I didn't have a choice.

My music library is a reflection of me; music I like; bands I seeked out. And now it's not. If every band did this my phone would be full of bubblegum music.

It's not about "it's cool to hate U2". I dislike them because of things like this.
  • U2 bubblegum music? In comparison to what on your iDevice I am wondering?

  • It took me like 30 seconds to delete. Pretty much a non-issue.

This is the worst move in music history, yet every city in America had scores of people sleeping outside to be the first with a new iPhone.

U2 didn't put this music on your phone, Apple did. They are the ones at fault and they are the ones deserving of your scorn.

As an android person I am chuckling at this entire episode.

get rid of your iphone... compressed digital music sucks anyway.
apple sucks.... there I said it.
if someone snuck in my house and stuck a record on my shelf I would be fine with it as long as it was Santa Claus and he didn't steal anything. :))

  • Meanwhile, elsewhere in the world wars are being fought and people are having their heads cut off.........I know the term 'first world problem' is pretty cliché, but seriously......
  • I don't get it. I love old U2, hate new U2 so I deleted the songs. They weren't on my phone or iTunes for more than 5 minutes.

I listened to the first few songs today on my iPad (which I often forget has an iTunes account attached.) Kind of forgettable, but far from offensive. I didn't delete it.

No way. Windows Phone. The OS is far and away above Apple and Android.

I didn't really get the fuss until I heard the album. Its just not very good in my opinion. Had it been another Joshua or Achtung, we might have even seen world peace come out of this.

Fake. Though I wouldn't of mind having that free tape along with my Sanyo Walkman.

  • Or you could just try turning off the show all music section on the phone. I never had this album show up on my phone because I took the time to learn how to use my phone. Take responsibility for your own things and learn to use them. A quick button swipe would have prevented all of this.
