Keep this thread easy. Like over easy eggs on toast does not compare to sunny side up.
not to detract from the point you make, but i gotta say that poached are superior to both. still get that warm runny yellow center, but the whites are typically thicker and creamier too.

Yes, thanks for your quick response. And your right, most of Western society is pushed into eating a wheat and gain dominated diet. It's cheap and makes great profit. It also is the cause of inflammation in the body, which cause a lot of the health problems we see today. People would be better off sticking to lean meats, healthy fats and loads of fresh vegetables in turn eliminating a good deal of said problems

yellowwho, you the man, good to see another person on board!!! I have been on Paleo for the last 2 months. dropped 20 pounds in a month. feel way better!!! I think people are slowly getting educated what kind of poison that wheat and grain are to the human body. you are correct that it is cheap and unfortunately one of the sides of our "food pyramid". I believe it is one of the biggest contributors to obesity in our country. I have switched my way of thinking and added grass fed beef back in to my diet after not eating it for 10+ years. feeling much better. I felt like I was on an island with all this breakfast talk. although I do cheat sometimes.

I have been following a paleo based diet off and on for about a year. I've been cheating but I still try and eat as unprocessed as possible. I'll eat white rice and some dairy depending on how I feel. Usually around training days when my activity is high. It just seems like the more you dig into the research on how our food is produced and processed the more you become aware on how screwed up and backwards it is. Everyone makes dieting and eating healthy so complex, but it really isn't. Just eat things as close to their natural form and you'll be good. Oh, and all this fat free stuff drives me crazy !! What do you think happens to the quality of the the food when they somehow take the fat out of something that naturally has fat in it ! What gets put in it's place. Fat don't make you fat people !!!

Totally agree, this way of eating makes total sense. no fads to follow. just science. our ancestors ate what they could get their hands on- meat, fruit, vegetables etc. they didn't farm or raise animals in huge factory farms. they were healthier than we are now. in fact if they ate like we do today the human race would have been extinct. no one should have to sell anyone on the Paleo. It is just a matter of discipline. then again I do cheat with my Pad Thai every now and then. love those rice noodles!!

I just have a glass of 1% milk for breakfast, and a cup of coffee with cream and splenda. Anything more than that within a few hours of waking up makes me feel really sick. But I love breakfast at other times of the day.

If I have coffee or tea on an empty stomach, I feel like shit all day. Not big on those caffeine drinks. Maybe that's why???

The first thing every person should ingest upon waking is a glass or two of water! Kick starts the organs! Can I get an amen?
