Council Bluffs didn't count in '03 as it's pretty much Omaha. Let's get a show in Des Moines at the beautiful Wells Fargo Arena and actually sell out the place.

Signed,

Bored in Corn Country

UPDATE:

Due to flooding all around the state of Iowa, PJ should play a flood relief fundraiser show. Let's make it happen!

A Des Moines show would be great! Maybe even a summer show at Okoboji. Give me an excuse to actually see my family...

    Iowa City guys.

its only 4 hrs from Milwaukee, 3 from chicago, 2 from des moines, 4 from minniapolis, and like 3.5 from st. louis

its the perfect place to play, as its in the midlde of all of these cities.

i would lov eto see pearl jam play at Carver-hawkeye arena, or even better...the IMU ballroom (2000 people, its basically a large dining room)
    It's all happening....

    East Troy 2003
    Chicago x2, Summerfest x2, 2006
    Chicago THE VIC, Lollapalooza, 2007
    bonnaROOOOOOO 2008
    Chicago x2 2009

Iowa City wouldn't work. The acoustics at Carver are terrible and the Ballroom is a terrible place to watch a show.

I'm thinking they play at either Gabes, The Green Room, or the Yacht Club.

Now the US Cellular center in Cedar Rapids...that I could see. It's only 20 minutes from IC. They get decent shows in there. Or the Mark in the Quad Cities.
Got an army, fact I got two. That's ok man, cause I love money!

    Kinnick Stadium!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be a wet dream for me. Kelly Clarkston is playing there before the Spring Football game this year. A PJ show would help alleviate the stench from that.

I don't understand why bands can't play Carver though. I thought they worked on it a few years ago so they could get shows there (I remember Elton John and the Foo Fighters played there several years ago)?

Those not from Iowa thinking Iowa is boring etc, would have a great time in Iowa City. Tons of fun bars and great people.

NIICEEEEE. yeah pj can play in Historic Kinnick Stadium after kelly clarkson.

psh, they will prob put a stage in the endzone facing the scoreboard. i can name only 3 bands that would be able to fill all of kinnick stadium. PJ isnt one of them

Why would they play Cedar Rapids when they have never played Des Money?

ya know what, i dont really give a shit where they play

i'm just so psyched that they are going to play again this year. it was a total surprise to hear they were playing at all in 07, and to have been able to see them twice last year was quite the blessing.

Bonnaroo will be sick, and so will their VFC tour, yes i have a strong feeling they will come back to the swing states

    Here's your chance guys.

53 of Iowa's 99 counties were declared disaster areas by the State. I believe 23 are federal disaster areas. The people of Iowa need a pick-me-up. How about a flood recovery fundraiser show in Iowa?

    Let's make it happen.

I think my head would explode. I camped out overnight to see Smashing Pumpkins there, it was simply amazing.

I don't think so. They could play Carver Hawkeye in Iowa City, Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, or somewhere in Cedar Rapids (not familiar with venues in that city).
