I filled an entire one of the black nalgene looking wine bottles. It was amazing and way better than traveling through that god awful crowd.

I only drank a few sips of water from 9am until show time... I was so thirsty... but it paid off... no having to go. A kid next to us peed in a cup and was getting hasseled by the security guard... but they made up by show time.

    Well worth the dehydration!
I always "dehydrate" before a show because I know there is no way I'm leaving and not being a guy there aren't a lot of alternatives. I'll sip a bit of liquid, but that's it. If I was a guy I could definitely see myself peeing in a bottle-lol. :)

You people are fucking nuts!!!! And this is exactly why I'm so happy I didn't bother to try and stand there all day long and chose to enjoy the rest of the acts as well. My spot was sub par at best about 1/3 way back and towards the speakers, but atleast I wasn't pissing in a bottle in public or risking dehydration! God, how many people were passing out in front?

I only saw one guy pass out, but he passed out twice before he was taking away. It was about half way into PJ set.

  • I drank one water bottle and one tea & didnt go from 10am til like 10pm. I held it all day long man! And I am a girl who pee's often as it is! I am one of those people who always has to pee when they get to a place, or all nite. I am so proud of myself for holding it. I am currently drinking lots of cranapple juice just in case, but so far, so good! ;)
But everyone around me went, and I had people who I trusted to hold my spot. But I just didnt need to go. I was the support group to tell people they didnt need to go pee, it was all mental!

Did you guys really wait 12 hours just to see PJ up close? Doesn't that completely kill the whole point of Lolla? You guys missed some killer bands on Sunday!

That's what worked for me too. Only one bottle all day, 2cd from the rail, never left my spot and help my bladder from about 9:30 to about midnight. No food either, just yogurt for breakfast (didn't wanna risk the runs)> The thing is, I did't feel any pain or urgency to pee. I guess working cattle and horses in hi temp/humidity/with urine and feces flying finally paid off!!

I waited 8 hours for the white stripes this summer for 2ond/3rd row, 4 hours for Bob Dylan. I'd definitley do the same for Pearl Jam.
