I held it from 11:30 through My Morning Jacket. Then I absolutely needed to go. I grabbed a smartwater water bottle, used one of those black bandanas they passed out in the morning to shield myself from everyone else, and went to town. Unfortunately, the black bandana shielded myself from myself too, and i ended up pissing all over my shorts. Oh well, it dried and I had a kick-ass view for a kick-ass show. No complaints.

Thankfully there were plenty of washrooms in the VIP Cabanas, as I needed to change my son's diaper before PJ took the stage.

I REALLY had to go to the bathroom at one point.. My husband handed me a bottle and was like, well go.. Yeah, maybe for a dude thats possible but I would NOT have been able to pee into a smart water bottle...

so the kind folk around me let me run to the bathroom before Lupe Fiasco, and I had to plead my way back up. Everyone around me was so nice about it though.. we were all in the same boat.

It was about 20 minutes before PJ went on. Even if I had wanted to get out, there is no way I would have been able to. To say nothing of trying to get back in through roughly 100,000 people.

I used a SmartWater bottle to its fullest capabilities. Someone left a led zeppelin shirt to claim a spot in front of us and never returned. So I used that as a screen, unfortunately PJ came on about 6 seconds after I started so things got a bit messy.Thankfully avoided any major incidents.

well i do have to say at least u used the curtosy to use a water bottle because the guys infront of me just went to the bathroom on the grass.

I drank 2 liters of water, and sweated it all out. I didn't have to go from 11A.M. untill I got back to my apartment around 1 A.M.

That either says a) I sweated it out and managed my water consumption legend style or b) I'm very unhealthy

I only drank a few sips of water from 9am until show time... I was so thirsty... but it paid off... no having to go. A kid next to us peed in a cup and was getting hasseled by the security guard... but they made up by show time.

Well worth the dehydration!

I think I drank 4 22oz beers, one 1 liter bottle of water I brought with me, and 4 of the bottles that they sold at the show.

I later filled one smartwater bottle and the 1 liter bottle I brought.

yea i shit and i stink too, but i dont piss in bottles in the middle of a huge crowd. i usually piss on whoever happens to be standing in front of me....and you know, some people arent bothered by it at all.

LOL I used one of those Plastic sport bottles that the Blackstone Wine came in. I wasn't about to give up my spot on the rail! Pulled the T-Shirt down a bit and let it flow... Screwed the cap back on and placed the warm bottle in the cardboard box that the security guard was using to collect garbage!

I thought about throwing it at the pushy little bitches behind me but there would have been collateral damage and we wouldn't want any of that.

i didn't go claim a spot until before my morning jacket, and i pissed before i did. fortunately it was so hot and i was sweating so much that i didn't have to piss at all during the rest of the show.....however my friend and i who went got a great spot about 30-40 yards tops away from the stage close to dead center. some girls proceeded to tell some security guards that my friend (another huge pj fan) was pissing on them and all of their friends agreed. (never happened at all and i don't know what their motive was for making this claim) anyway needless to say they tossed my friend out of the area. he ended up having to watch the show from a shitty spot. fortunately i was around some pretty good people, and my spot was pretty great as well so i had a great time, but i'm sure the experience for my friend could've been a lot better.

I'm surprised I didn't contract an STD as well.

For the seats I had you really had to do that. If you left you lost your seat and with all of the water you had to drink to stay hydrated it impossible not too. It wasn't one of my shining moments, but I'm glad I wasn't the only one.

I'm glad somebody said something; I thought I was the only one.
I realized at around 4 PM that there was no leaving my spot, even if I wanted to. If you left, you weren't coming back, period, and I had stood there all day in that same spot.
So I grabbed a Pepsi bottle, stuffed it up my shorts, and...yeah. Not my proudest moment. I was worried I was going to get it on my shorts or on someone else, but I found out I have really good aim.
Glad I wasn't the only one.

I took a piss break around noon and that was it for me for the rest of the day. I barely drank anything all afternoon just to make sure I wouldn't need to pee again... but I was more than ready to piss in a bottle if I needed to

I wanted to see if I could balance intake of water with no peeing, and it worked! Not once from 9:30 am til the end did I go...it was like my body just shut down everything but sweat and I was drenched all day. Gettin too old for craziness like that but it worked.

Glad to read that you all are so considerate for your fellow jammers. Pissing in bottles and putting the top back on is the way to it. All though at some point somebody is bound to step on the bottle with the risk of a yellow explosion(!)
At the Copenhagen show a guy demonstrated how NOT to do it. He found a plastic cup used by security to hand out water, pissed in it and then threw it backwards over the crowd!! That's just discusting and if you're reading this, shame on you! How would you like to be hit smack in the head with an open cup containing an unknown warm yellow liquid that smells funny??!!

I wanted to piss in a bottle but my wife for obvious reasons had to use the facilities, we had been in our spot since noon and she just could not hold it any longer after MMJ so we retreated to the bathroom on the way out of the crowd i came to the conclusion there was no way we were getting back based on the mass of humans, suprisingly enough, people were more than willing to give us room to get out! oh well, in retrospect it was good move as we are both in our late 30's and decided it better to let the younger crowd crowd surf, slam into each other etc...

we actually joked that the next time we go to a GA show we will have wear depends

That's fucking excellent! You're my hero! I did that once in a garden outside a nightclub. Got it all over my good slacks.
