If this type of scenario is close to being correct... then the 'two' kids need some measure of leniency. The 'planners' on the other hand are a different story.

    Much agreed on this.

    DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
In a case that went viral, family members of an autistic teen received an apology in court today.

Three Bay Village teens have admitted to assault and disorderly conduct charges in a cruel ice bucket challenge attack.

The boys appeared in Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court Thursday morning. Following the hearing, one teen apologized to the victim and his family.

By admitting to the charges, the teens will not go to trial.

Five teens were accused of dumping a mixture of water, urine and tobacco spit on a 15-year-old boy who is autistic in Bay Village, Ohio back August. The concoction was part of a prank in connection with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

Two of the five teens avoided criminal charges. They were entered into the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court Community Diversion Program. If they complete the program they will not have any official court record.
Of the remaining three, one teen is also facing charges in a previous case involving arson. The other teen is accused of marijuana possession.

The prosecution meantime, does not want the victim to have any contact with the suspects.

The three will be sentenced after the probation department completes its pre-sentencing investigation.

An exact sentencing date has not been set.
