I don't begrudge anyone for selling stuff because they need to lighten their collection or need the money or even if an item starts fetching a ridiculous price, but buying stuff just to mark it up and sell it the next day does not sit well with me. I've seen several people on here do it regularly (to the point where I wonder if they have real jobs). I make a mental note of them and refuse to deal with them unless I get the item for cost, which I have been able to do on occasion (specifically a QOTSA Emek A/P that I missed out on and as soon as I came here I saw it posted with a big markup that I refused to pay, but I got it for cost plus shipping, and if I hadn't I would have lived).
What happened with the stickers was just a shitty thing to do. Asking for a favor and then flipping the item...not cool.
Just my opinion and how I choose to handle it. I'm glad to see others are doing the same and refusing to deal with those people.
I must of missed out on the sticker ordeal. I usually just buy, don't normally sell but I did sell a pj soccer jersey for what I paid for it last year. I almost bought that hat off of ebay for what he paid for it but didn't pull the trigger. Then I see this post and got a laugh out of it. Seems like this dude has had some issues before. Not cool.
Damn, some high n' mighty folk passin' judgements 'round here 8-} Hat is easily worth a fiddy note (w/ shipping included!), regardless of what he might have paid for it, IMO.
My 2 bits...
How's it worth $50 when he just paid $20?
Exactly, the market just said it's worth $20, how's it worth $50? 8-}

Well, I may have mis-worded that I guess. I mean it would be worth $50 to me if I wanted it, regardless of what he paid. I mean, this Vault Vinyl #4 sells here for $50. Unfortunately, some people will be selling theirs for $150 within a month of the vinyl selling out. My real point was I can't understand how folks can rag on this guy or anyone else for "flipping" items when it is so totally commonplace here. Buy low, sell high. I can't really say that it's "right" but I'd feel like a total hypocrite in our capitalist society if I passed judgement on someone looking to turn a profit. But then, I don't know this dude's history with the stickers or whatever. I may have overreacted I guess and I apologize if I insulted anybody.
