Is Renegades one of the best cover albums by a modern rock band in the last fifteen years?

Finally saw Rage at Leeds festival in 2009, one of the greatest gigs of my life. The anticipation before and energy during the gig was unbelievable!

'Killing In The Name' has to be one of the greatest debut singles of all time. It still sounds great now but in 92 it just blew my mind. I got into so much trouble for having a t-shirt with "fuck you I won't do what you tell me" written on the back (I was only 15)

I only got to see Rage once, when they headlined the Friday night of the Reading Festival in 1996 on the Evil Empire tour. I actually remember not being that interested in seeing them! I was meeting my friends in between bands - they'd been watching The Prodigy while I was at the smaller stage watching Sebadoh - and I was all set to go to see Rocket From The Crypt. I didn't like the Evil Empire album (I still don't) but as soon as 'People of the Sun' started it was like a bomb had gone off. The place just went crazy and I am so glad i didn't miss it. Definitely one of the best live bands I've been fortunate enough to see.
