OK Last night was a good show. The setlist was all over the place. They played all the classics like Fire it up, out of gas and 3rd planet. Float on even made an appearance and it wasn't the closer which was nice.
Some guitar solos were played with teeth, yes that's right teeth! Isaac played them. lol.
Mr Brock yapped it up with the crowd too. He was entertaining and at one point asking the crowd a question and decided to answer it himself. He asked if they should finish the song or go on to a next one? They decided to finish.
Lots of new stuff from the album.
All around a good show. Good crowd. Hipsters galore, I was in Brooklyn...
Saw them yesterday night. Wish the show was a bit longer (they did come out 35 min late), they played 14 songs over about an hour and a half, but I had a blast. So much fun live. Crowd was great and Isaac is hilarious and wacky (and very well may have been quite drunk). Lots of songs from Good News as well as the new album. I gotta catch a full show sometime!

I saw them last night in Vancouver, and they were awesome, and i was pretty excited about the set list. They played King Rat!! That was the one song I was REALLY hoping for, and it was awesome - I was in heaven. Issac Brock was also very funny, and they really squeezed in as many songs as they could before curfew. I enjoyed the crowd a lot too. I was in the mosh pit area, and for the most part, everyone kept the insanity relatively civilized, and there was a friendly vibe. Enjoyed the show very much!

Good show last night but cut short due to it being a festival. Malkin bowl was the best show I've seen from them on the west coast.(2xSeattle,Van,Victoria) Great setlist and great energy too bad they got cut short at the Malkin bowl as well.
They did play 3rd planet and Doin the Cockroach last night! No setlist posted as of yet.

GREAT show last night in Columbus... did the show with my PJ sister Amy / deadendp:
It was an outdoor show at the The LC... we FROZE our @$$e$ off, but Modest Mouse was just INCREDIBLE!!
Black Cadillacs, Dashboard and Tiny Cities Made of Ashes were probably the highlights for me. We got a shorter set because it was so cold the band kept adding layers thru the whole show...but still had an AMAZING time with GREAT FRIENDS!!

Such a great time! A wonderful venue! Chilly? Yes! (The heated seats in the car helped to cure that.) The music WAS incredible (each and every song), the crowd was great (even though that guy kept accidentally standing in front of me and it WAS accidental), we went on tours, we ate fantastic food, hung out and we made it half way through PJ20 before you were out!
Hey, if Sammy should come up missing, she may have been lured to my house with some Sammy Snax! Love that dog! Thanks for being so kind to Toni and me!

In my defense...it WAS 3am when I crashed!! You guys are ALWAYS welcome in my home... I had a GREAT time at the show and just hanging out with both of you yesterday!!
And it sounds like I'm lucky to still have my dog here in Columbus... BECAUSE I would NOT have noticed (I was OUT!!) if you had taken her with you when you "snuck out" this morning!!!
Thanks so much for the new brews too...
I've never had this Great Lakes brew and looking forward to giving it a try!!

I love their name. Perhaps if you know more about where the name came from:
The band's name is derived from a passage from the Virginia Woolf story "The Mark on the Wall," which reads, "I wish I could hit upon a pleasant track of thought, a track indirectly reflecting credit upon myself, for those are the pleasantest thoughts, and very frequent even in the minds of modest, mouse-coloured people, who believe genuinely that they dislike to hear their own praises." (Wikipedia)
MM is in my top 5 favorite bands of all time.

Bought We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank on vinyl at the the show. (My favorite album.) Was listening to it yesterday as I made dinner. My husband, not an MM fan, came in and even admitted that they are growing on him. Rob, I think you need to look past the name and give it a go. Mark's favorite MM album is Strangers to Ourselves. Try it out one day. You don't even have to look for it. I have it right here for you:

Does MM tend to mix up the setlist, or do they keep it pretty much the same from show to show?
