at first listen it sounds MUCH better than the FM boots circa 95/96.  I have them all and this has the best bass as far as I can tell.  More comparisons coming when I get time.

    Okay  New Boot IMO:
Sounds like a live recording, mix is much better, Bass is actually present, levels of instruments is way more consistent and unified. Cymbals are wonderful!  Loving the drums, man I  loved Jackie!

Old version(s)  vocals are way too in front of everything, levels are jacked way up to the point of shrill.  Almost no bass.  Ed sounds like he is in a room singing over the music

now don't get me wrong, for years this was one of the only "soundboard" recordings out there, but they were really FM broadcast recordings from the soundboard feed, so there was clearly signal and quality loss. It has always been one of my favorite boots, but it is SOOOO MUCH better on the bugs version, not even close.

Mix is soo much better...listening now again....fucking amazing transporting me back to that amazing night

unfortunately, these shows were not multi-tracked, so they are unlikely to be Vault releases.

Yep. Hard2imgn......Ed’s voice always bugged me on the previous Soldier Field boots.  Way too upfront and harsh.

I just want to mention that Moline is, IMHO, the most overrated boot in the history of PJ boots. Whatever magic happened at that show did not carry over onto the recording at all as far as I'm concerned. I doubt it feels that way to those who were there, because their memories of the show colour their experience while listening to the boot. But as someone who wasn't there (and who loves No Code), Moline is probably the worst boot I've downloaded so far. I really regret listening to those who recommended it when I asked for opinions about which boot I should download with my free download code.
