So theres probably around 5k or more out there. Its a cool collectible but u have to be a real PJ completist to pay more than $30 for a cardboard sleeved CD. I'll stick with 2-4 lol

Vault #4 - Purchased. I grew up an hour south of Bellingham and did everything I could to get tickets into this show. I ended up working on the night of the show, so I wasn't able to go up and crash it and try to get in the door. I recall that the people that did got in halfway through. It was a HUGE deal to have PJ play up there. The Mt. Baker theater is a small, unassuming, intimate theater. Will be awesome to get a soundboard vinyl version of this show to go with the bootleg I've had for the past decade +.

Not every ticket got one. I know lots of people who went but didn't get a copy.

    Fan club tickets only.
AND only one copy of the CD per ticket package...

Vault # 1 also was available as a limited bonus for purchases of the Vs/ Vitalogy Superdeluxe set a few months after most people got the set as a bonus to sell sitting units.

Theres at least 60,000 copies of Vault 1 if every ticket got a copy. its only rare basically cuz people held onto them (or if casual fans threw it in their trunk).

60,000? That's impossible. Though 10club did sell these Vault 1 CD's online. Well, for one day only those who bought the Vs/Vitalogy Box Set, the Vault 1 CD was included with their purchase. So no idea how many were pressed.

But it sure would be nice to see Vault 1 back on sale along side Vault 2, 3 & 4 @ the 10club store.

Yeah, all of the vaults are easy to listen to. I would be sweet if they'd released the first two on vinyl though. Would love to have a complete collection.

  • Don't like that the first two shows are not on vinyl. Would like to have a complete collection.

And not a fan of them jumping between tours and years like they do. I like Neil Youngs approach more with having an idea of what shows are to be released and they numbered in chronological order.

So do I. People need to stop getting upset that the year they wanted wasn't released, I don't see the Vault series stopping so they will dig even deeper in the future I'm sure

Yeah, me too. At least in the order they are released.

But I would love Neil Youngs approach, where this 2000-show would have been for example Vault #24 but still released as the 4th one. And there would be 23 shows before it that was already planned to be released.

    I like things chronological. :)

  • Just ordered. $87 is a bit steep, but in comparison to what binaural would cost me it's a steal.

No wonder people buy a few... need to recover the shipping cost with a worthwhile trade in the future... $37 to Australia.

  • Being the 2000-tour, we already have pearl jam sounding like this a plenty. And the show isn't really that interesting...

I dug the Washington 98 show a lot more.

When the 3rd vault was released, was it indicated in the item description that some songs weren't included? I know there's no Yellow Ledbetter on any of the formats released and the vinyl was also missing Push Me Pull Me whereas the CD/Digital copies had half of it.

Just wondering if this vault will be a complete show without any missing tunes or if we might unfortunately lose some because of time restrictions on the wax or master recordings missing songs.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty confident in saying I remember that they did indeed note which songs were excluded from the Vault 3 vinyl right on the item description in the shop.
