Pearl Jam 1995 poster (Zebra) question..

Hi all,

I have a question regarding the '95 Australian pearl jam your poster (Zebra or Firework). What sort of paper was this printed on? i.e for those with this poster, can it be rolled up, or was it printed on a thicker style card?

Is there anyway to tell if the poster is a reprint? Did they reprint this poster?

Any advice would be great.

it was on a glossy paper stock, it can definitely be rolled. Quite thin paper really, and do note its not a screenprint, its more a glossy poster

Thanks, just looking a friends and his is quite a thick carded type paper......would this be a reprint?

It seems if you were to roll it up that it'd get damaged.

Mmmmm yeah maybe that's it. Would that decrease the value do you think?

Sadly it does, although if its to be hung on a wall behind glass, it shouldn't really matter.

it hurts the value in terms of your 'poster collector' but for someone who couldn't give a damn about a future resale, they might turn a blind eye

I had 2 of these years ago. I class this as magazine gloss type paper, maybe a little thicker but not by much. These were before the poster hype took off and tubes were not at gigs. So many have some kind of damage. Creases being the main thing.

    It's not a reprint. It's a fake/bootleg.
It's smaller than the original one and the paper is like you've described.

Original is a little pricey. Who has a bootleg version for sale?

You'll never read about it, but I've recently managed to find an original zebra poster and received it last Friday. Have been looking to find this for such a long time.....will post some pics once it's framed. Such a cool poster.

Never mentioned a bootleg, just my friends one, which it turns out has been mounted onto a piece of cardboard.

Awesome! Congrats! I can't wait to see pics of it. Now I just have to find one. I don't even care if it's in descent to fair shape.
