I'm a little nervous to try this but I think it's worth a shot and should be a lot of fun. I'm not sure to be honest if I will get 6 to participate but we shall see. Hopefully fun for everyone who participates. It would probably be easier just to list this stuff on Lost Dogs or ebay but let's give it a shot and see if it can be fun for all. After seeing all the cool mystery stuff the 10c has done lately, it's my turn LOL. Hang in there with me for all the details as I describe below:
All funds raised will benefit the non-profit I run; Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey (www.OperationYellowRibbonSouthJersey.org). I think most of you know by now that our volunteer group works very hard each and every week to welcome our local heroes home here outside of Philly in NJ (South Jersey) and then send tons and tons of goodies in the form of care packages to those deployed in harm's way in the middle east. Many of our recipients in the past have included fellow fans and forum members or their family members.
Details:
We will take the first 6 fans who participate. The first 6 that PM me where I will respond with Paypal instructions are in and are guaranteed to win one of the following as it is a mystery until your prize shows up! Each participant donates $175 (some used to cover shipping of these items etc) via Paypal as a friends/family payment. I will randomly draw winners where each of the 6 participants will win one of the following:
1) Into The Wild Sealed 2007 Vinyl. The original, not the reproduction. I believe it contains the bonus 7 inch No More War (which is really hard for me to give up LOL so if the winner wants an unsealed version without the bonus vinyl, let me know LOL)
2) Sealed Pearl Jam Vault 3 Vinyl LP
3) The Mike "Fucking" McCready Mystery Pack:
You will get some cool Mike stuff including a Mike signed Mad Season limited edition Blue Vinyl and Mike guitar pick as pictured (please forgive the flash):
4) Huge Huge Mystery Package: The winner of this will get tons of merch from me and other generous fans across the globe. New stuff, old stuff..it will all be a mystery! As a tease, here is one of the items you will receive thanks to a generous friend:
5) Euro 2014 PJ poster pack: 1) Signed Artist Edition Brian Ewing Amsterdam and 2) Pearl Jam Milton Keynes Ames Signed Artist Edition (not the variant)
6) Super Pearl Jam Poster Artist Brad Klausen poster pack: 1) Show version of the 2004 Seattle Showbox Poster and 2) Show version of the 2006 Toronto poster:
I realize $175 is a lot to ask from people where they don't know what they are getting until it shows up. I'm trying to raise funds here for a good cause as well as do something cool. If we don't get 6 people to participate, we will just draw winners from the names who do participate and then the prizes not selected for winners will just be used at a later date or sold off on Lost Dogs or eBay later. We are going to give this a shot and see if it sticks...after all, you can't hit a home run unless you go to the plate and swing the bat...

To participate and end up divorced...or...not to participate and remain married? That is a tough one? I'm gonna have to opt for the latter, especially since tomorrow is Anniversary #2.
