A heap of fake picks, the lettering with the Mc is all bunched up where as the originals are spaced even and the colour appears to be a little off also. These dudes from Canada will try anything.

Yeah they don't look sharp or detailed.

if they are fake, the seller sure picked the wrong pick to try to make a buck. this is probably the most common PJ pick I can think of, no?

says those were used on the avocado tour, not true, mike used the 2 sided dog pick on that tour.

Too much fake stuff out there. Wouldn't spend much if anything on a guitar pick. Just like autographs.

yeah same for me, picks and auto's only really mean something if you get them in person.
Though I wouldn't mind having a sweet guitar pick collection.

Not true, the fake ones are already identified and there aren't many different designs being bootlegged, only those who doesn't do a little homework and ask before buying get caught on that trap, is like someone who never buys vinyl and buys the blue avocado vinyl, it is fucked up the fact that there are so many fakes vinyl floating around but if you ask around here you'll know in 5 mins that the blue vinyl is a bootleg; With picks is more or less the same, if you post here on my thread I'll help you ASAP, but it is completely different if you think picks are only good if you get them yourself at a show, which is a valid argument of course, but I don't have a time machine to travel 25 years into the past to get old picks.

I agree with this. Most of the time you can get verification on these boards as to whether something is real, fake, bootleg, etc. I've found it to be very helpful. Signatures are more difficult I think as they have changed throughout the years but you can still get very close to verifying them if you get info from the right people. I only have two autographed items. One came from a very reliable member on here (pdalowsky) and the other was an item that came directly from the 10c. Feel pretty confident about the legitimacy of both. That being said, I would struggle to just buy something on the internet that is signed (even with a COA as these are easily faked as well) Just be careful with your money and do some research first is what it really boils down to.

One of the most common and also one of my favorites. I'd love have one if anyone is sitting on an extra!
