Tour dates announced....... I've been waiting a couple of years to see these guys (after a near miss opening for the Foos @ Fenway; I saw one of the only shows where Royal Blood DIDN'T open for them)

After all that waiting, I'm pretty happy to get a Friday night show only 15 minutes from my house...... can't wait.

Good luck to those going after tickets.

If you preorder the album on their website, you'll get access to the concert presale next week.

I ordered the cd today, after shipping it came out to $16 & change. (I would have preferred the vinyl, but shipping was insane)

    $80 Canadian to ship?
    $140-$150 Canadian no thanks

I assume that's for the vinyl? Regardless, I agree. The shipping charges are insane.

I was surprised to see they didn't have a digital download option. I would have purchased that yesterday, and if the album's good, pursued a vinyl option down the road.

Regardless, I'm more excited just to finally have a chance to see them then I am for the new album.

hope they come to Canada. had I known who they were at the time, i would have taken in the Pixies show when RB was opening. As sometimes happens, I find out a band played in my town yesterday that I discovered today.

That happened to me w/ At the Drive In back in their prime. It's a major kick in the pants.

Closest they are coming to me is Lolla in Chicago. Noticed that they are in Cali on August 16 and then in Japan on the 19th. That's a crazy turnaround.
    It's a hopeless situation...

The pressing in question is only available from their website.
I want it but it's hard to justify $150 for a new release.
No way shipping costs that much

I was going to buy the deluxe vinyl, I think it came out to 50 + Euro after shipping to the states, which would be somewhere around $60 USD.

Less than what you were seeing, but still too much for me to drop on something like this.

Not sure how you guys did for pricing; Boston was $25 per, $33.50 after fees, and it's a nice small 900 person capacity club.
  • how are you getting tickets today? 9:30 seems to start tomorrow?!?! Any help is much appreciated!

Pre-sale today for people that pre-ordered the album from their site. Picked up tix for their Wiltern show in LA.

I preordered the deluxe LP from the UK and paid 54 euro wihich was like $70 USD because for some reason the site wouldn't let you cart it in USD where it was $40 + $6 for shipping. I wanted that presale code and scored tix for the Boston show. Now if you go to the site, you can buy in USD.

Bummed that they are only playing Lollapalooza in Chicago. Having Lolla here every year really takes away from some bands playing their own headlining shows here. It really sucks.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for. Just sucks that these bands that play Lolla sometimes count that as their Chicago stop on their tour. Unless there's 3-4 bands I really want to see playing on the same day, the chances of me going to Lolla are slim.

Tool is playing 20 minutes from my house, unfortunately it's at Boston Calling. I have to drive 4 hours north to Bangor the night before to see them do their own show (at least I have the oportunty & means to do this, so I won't complain THAT much)
