There's a level of narcissism with this doosh and others like her.

It's fair to say that there are several dooshes that dream of taking their fancy rifle to Africa and gunning down a cheetah, leopard or elephant. They sit on their porches or decks and say to other dooshes that are like them, "I really wanna shoot a leopard. Can you just imagine shooting a leopard. Oh my Gawd!"

Then the other doosh says something like, "No. I wanna shoot an elephant. I really want an ivory chunk. A gorilla would be cool so I could cut its hand off and use it to place my ashtray on. Thaaaaat would be way cool!"

Then both dooshes sigh and yearn a little more to use their fancy guns. Dooshes can only shoot tin cans for so long.

My point is as follows: what if every doosh got their wish? Exactly how would the survival of the species be assured once the ecological threshold has been passed? Conservation efforts are a direct counter to doosh activity. Allowing a doosh permits to shoot said animals only kindles the fire in other dooshes that want a cheetah carpet.

nothing dooshier than cheerleading! The saddest thing about this story is that anybody knows who this person is. Cheerleading..pffft.. Right up there with beauty pageants...just sad.

Not trying to defend her or any other dooshes, cuz i know them and they are doooooooooshy...but there is a distinct rush of adrenaline that floods the brain when a predator (yes thats us) has success. If you have ever been fishing and caught a big one, you might understand this thrill. Again, not defending this kind of dooshy behavior, just providing a little insight on why otherwise normal people go out and kill animals from time to time.
She makes me sick.

I used to be an avid fisherman and a somewhat 'casual' hunter. I understand the 'rush'. I will fish again and eat every fish I catch, but I will never hunt again. I'm not making any judgements on hunters that shoot and eat their prey, but let's all understand that trophy hunting for a 'rush' and a mounted head is immoral.

Such sensitive and intelligent creatures. And the little ones are just freakin adorable.

As to elephants destroying land due to overgrazing, Africa was fine before humans and I've read study that grazing actually helps the land. Was paper copy so don't have source.

If her claim is that the animals are eaten by the starving villagers... then, why doesn't she shoot and kill the prey animals, such as the Oxen or Zebras?
There are far more prey animals in the wild, than the predators. Why go after the predator? Is it because Leopard 'tastes like chicken'? And if it does, then why not just teach them how to raise chickens?

how is it conservation of a species when the dominant members like alpha male lions are shot and the less dominant ones are left alive to breed to pass on inferior genes?? this will not conserve a species, but make it less likely to survive.
