EV at Mountain Stage is a much more realistic endeavor. The only venues in WV large enough for PJ all have horrible acoustics

    Appreciate the positivity...

Bump for Pearl Jam to play West Virginia...

Secondary bump for Ed to play a solo show, just not Mountain Stage... A more realistic endeavor would be the Municipal Auditorium or Clay Center.

As am I!  It might be a longshot, or it might happen when they are feeble old men, but I'll be there!

Bump.  Below is a link with a couple videos of the ongoing renovations to the Charleston Civic Center (my preference as to a future Pearl Jam show location in West Virginia).

I'm ready, but it would be damn nice for a hometown small venue show...

Call Manchin and urge him to vote no on Kavanaugh.  There’s still a chance.  And while your at it urge him to vote yes on bringing PJ to WV.

Cool.  My post aimed at convincing PJ to play WV has gone political.  It only took me (and some supportive others) 12 pages worth of positive comments and bumps to derail.  Thanks.

Sorry, dude.  Your WV thread popped up on a day that WV is front and center in the national news.  Just got me thinking about Raleigh getting cancelled for political reasons.  I don't think I derailed anything.  (but Senator Manchin did).  Now, back to the coalmine.....

I do hope you get your show, btw.....

We come from Maine.  If they can play a venue in maine that is much smaller than the wvu coliseum (1996 tour) than west virginia should be possible

It’s all good man.  I just try to refrain from mixing the political scene and PJ, which is tough (because, honestly, my political leanings and views are not at all in tune with Pearl Jam’s/Eddie’s).  I do like to immerse myself in their music though, as I have since way back when.  Anyway, I know where you’re coming from and know that you weren’t derailing the thread.
