I'm in. we make a trip back to Morgantown once a year to visit and take in a wvu football game. If pearl jam plays West Virginia we will be there. Keep the hope alive op

We come from Maine.  If they can play a venue in maine that is much smaller than the wvu coliseum (1996 tour) than west virginia should be possible
Thanks!  And, what part of Maine?  My dad is from “The North Woods” area (let’s say Houlton is the closest “city”).

I’d like them to play Maine again, in addition to WV.

Cool.  My post aimed at convincing PJ to play WV has gone political.  It only took me (and some supportive others) 12 pages worth of positive comments and bumps to derail.  Thanks.
Sorry, dude.  Your WV thread popped up on a day that WV is front and center in the national news.  Just got me thinking about Raleigh getting cancelled for political reasons.  I don't think I derailed anything.  (but Senator Manchin did).  Now, back to the coalmine.....

I do hope you get your show, btw.....

It’s all good man.  I just try to refrain from mixing the political scene and PJ, which is tough (because, honestly, my political leanings and views are not at all in tune with Pearl Jam’s/Eddie’s).  I do like to immerse myself in their music though, as I have since way back when.  Anyway, I know where you’re coming from and know that you weren’t derailing the thread.
I'll make it up to you and bump this thread now and then. Have a great weekend!

Outside of Portland. Your dad is from "the county" as most people call it. The Northern part is nice just not a lot of jobs other than potatoes and lumber. People are nicer up there. We will be down for baylor game in a couple weeks. Southern maine is unfortunately turning into northern massachusetts.

I love the Portland area, but agree with the Massachusetts comparison.  I’m hoping to get up that way sometime next year.

I’ve been considering a WVU game.  If it is Baylor I’ll let you know.  Maybe a mini-PJ-meet up....

We got past Grand Canyon U.  Next up, Coastal Carolina.

Bump for a show in West Virginia, ideally Charleston. (Speaking of which, my company just partook in a convention at the newly remodeled Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.  While the arena itself did not see too many upgrades, the rest of the building that I saw is pretty damn nice).

Oh, cool, I'll have to remember that.  Hopefully the Buccos will still be in contention at that point too.

Bump for a WVU baseball win!  I would be ecstatic if this show happens in 2020.  I'm also really digging how the St. Louis Blues crowd sings "Country Roads" regularly.
