    so what kinda tunes are played at, oh i don't know, lets say, a funeral... i mean, 'wedding'
    when i was a little boy i got 'funeral & wedding' mixed up. this was funny to me when i got older.
    i am not kidding either, not a bit.

    a wedding was a funeral & a funeral was a wedding. we (our little family) had been to multiple weddings & funerals by the time i was 8 years old. sometimes several funerals within weeks of each other, mom's mom & dad's mom died within weeks of one another. remember, to me these were weddings

    I would hope you are talking about a wedding...I would not be ecstatic at a funeral, well, I suppose it would depend on whose funeral it would be...then maybe there would be some elation in order.

    I get what RKCNDY is saying but actually...I think funerals and weddings (ha! I just wrote "weedings") are both celebrations of life - suppose of loss as well on both fronts.
