plants & all that stuff are tranquil for me & so calming sets in & i've come to discover ladies like this stuff, not all but many like flowering. i like flowers & im no lady. good to go
Cook to buddy, women love men that know how to cook and for some strange feeling, I think you're a chef at heart too Chadwick!
As to living together - compromise happens...letting petty shit go happens...needing your own space/time happens...blinders come off (this is a good thing; maybe one of the best - to love and be loved despite or maybe because of our quirks and imperfections. Be prepared to see and be seen in your best, worst, and so-so lights)...intimacy happens in ways so beyond sex and the physical...getting through hard times, whether related to health, loss, finances, or just relationship adjustments...funny and heavy conversations in the dark when going to sleep...setting your routines and traditions together...plus finding spontaneity in the midst of the day-to-day.
With the right person, it's FUN.
If that's the direction you and your lady are headed, I wish you both all those things and more, chadwick.
chadwick, I love seeing/smelling/having around flowers and plants. Unfortunately our cats like to chew on and sometimes eat them (roses are hugely popular) but it fucks with their digestive systems.
We've been relegated to one small but thriving plant out of their reach.
And BB - yes on the cooking aspect! My husband makes a mean PB&J
i'm close to this but messier shirts are trashed often i have to put up a cloth napkin into my shirt neck or the shirt im wearing is fucked the table is fucked the floor is not nice anymore
?why me
so let's just pretend its, what, i don't know,,, thanksgiving or christmas at her family's house. i'm in trouble i'll just simply take my plate & got outside w/ the dog easy solved
the beard also collects a lot of stuff on any given day i'm sure i'll be a hit w/ her mother... you know, pretending & all this stuff
) Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. If she loves you it shouldn't matter if you make her mom puke on Thanksgiving.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
so what kinda tunes are played at, oh i don't know, lets say, a funeral... i mean, 'wedding' when i was a little boy i got 'funeral & wedding' mixed up. this was funny to me when i got older. i am not kidding either, not a bit.
a wedding was a funeral & a funeral was a wedding. we (our little family) had been to multiple weddings & funerals by the time i was 8 years old. sometimes several funerals within weeks of each other, mom's mom & dad's mom died within weeks of one another. remember, to me these were weddings
love to you, jeagler... i always will like the name jeagler moreso than juggler. to me you are the jeagler forever & ever. i have my own stinky rotten club but thank you for the invite

I would hope you are talking about a wedding...I would not be ecstatic at a funeral, well, I suppose it would depend on whose funeral it would be...then maybe there would be some elation in order.

I get what RKCNDY is saying but actually...I think funerals and weddings (ha! I just wrote "weedings") are both celebrations of life - suppose of loss as well on both fronts.

Everybody has a different approach, but in the end, all shit goes the same way...
Congrats on whatever is coming your way, Mr. Chadwick. Marriage can be a lot of fun
