    Four killed today in a shooting at Mercy Hospital in Chicago, including an ER doc and a pharmaceutical assistant, plus a police officer.

    How much more "in your lane" do you need to be, than to be at work, doing your job, when you become the victim of gun violence?

    ^^not sure about that....seems like we'd probably still be high on the list but maybe down a notches.  but murders, mass shootings etc....i don't see how it could not help.  Thoughts and prayers in the mean time.

    The numbers are from 2010 and if I remember the background correctly on the Paris terrorists attacks, the firearms came from Belgium, which had relatively laxer gun laws and an issue with illegal weapons and a hunting culture. Hungary, I’d fathom a guess of an aging population and struggles with life 20 years after the fall of communism. But that’s just a guess. Maybe a religious component in both, as well?

    Right? That's what I was wondering. Poor South Koreans. And they seem like such a happy bunch, I thought (I live in an area with a really large South Korean population - they really do seem cheery most of the time, with good senses of humour). How can a society that produced Gangnam Style be so depressed? (and no, I'm not being facetious, lol)
