10,000 handgun bullets is a stockpile, period.
They weren't target rounds either, so quit trying to justify this insanity because it makes you uncomfortable that your hobby is so closely adjacent to disturbing behavior.

I've seen about 5 articles that specifically mention his quote advising people to "shoot all Federal officers on sight".
Again, don't defend this wacko just because it makes you uncomfortable to be in a boat similar to his, do the research instead of playing the "don't know, can't say" card.
Who are you talking to?  I sure as hell am not “defending” this wacko.  “A boat similar to his”?  What a joke...If he made threats against federal agents, then he should definitely be investigated.
I defended certain things because I didn't have all the facts and because people like to throw gas on the fire before all the info comes out.
That seems like a normal train of thought in a country that favors due process.  How dare you believe someone is innocent until proven guilty!
The court system has nothing to do with "believing"

If you "believe" OJ is innocent, even without him being proven guilty, than you are a dumbass. Whether being a country that favors due process or the country where cops murder black people like dogs in the streets.

You mean like, “lock her up” innocent until proven guilty? Or Benghazi innocent until proven guilty? Maybe Uranium One innocent or Cosmic Pizza innocent? Give us a break from your fetish defense please. And some people voted a certain way because of that “guilt.”
Straw mans again?  Yes, I believe in innocence until proven guilty...period.

It doesn’t really surprise me that you do not agree with due process.

Someone that says, “I could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and get away with it,” you consider a “responsible” gun owner?

Have any of you “responsible” gun owners ever threatened to shoot anyone outside of a legitimate defense situation? If not, why? How about this guy, is he a “responsible” gun owner?

I'm pretty sure Trump has a permit to carry; I don't like the guy but no reason to think he isn't a responsible gun owner.
I'd be surprised if that's true...or if he's ever even touched a gun. I think he's said he carries as a way to pander to gun lovers.

But you didn’t believe in Hillary’s innocence though, did you?

I didn’t trust her, just like I wouldn’t trust the wacko here.  You are comparing apples and oranges here.
“Trust” and “innocence” are not the same thing. You’re comparing apples and oranges. Whoa, whoa, whoa, I just know that damn Hillary is guilty of something, dammit! Do you think Team Trump Treason is innocent? Do you trust him? Think he’d be a “responsible” gun owner?

I'm pretty sure Trump has a permit to carry; I don't like the guy but no reason to think he isn't a responsible gun owner.

I vote for politicians based on policies and stances.  That, on top of the fact that she was in the middle of an FBI investigation, and has “close ties” with Sticky Bill were a no go for me.  I wouldn’t vote for the “wacko” in question here either because he is being investigated for federal crimes and I do not align with his stances either.  That does not mean that either of them should be punished until found guilty of their crimes.
I am starting to see more and more legitimate reasons for including prison time in the “Red Flag” laws for people that are found to have made erroneous reports.  Some of you are going to bog down the system, lol
It is good to know that we both do believe in due process, though, unless I’m reading you wrong.

When you ask these questions are you:
    1.  talking out loud to yourself?
    2.  being rhetorical?
    3.  expect me, power or tempo to answer?
Correct me if I’m wrong but after parkland massacre did you not come here and state that you were for banning of the weapons used in the shooting?
I did and since then my opinion has changed.  Not sure how that fits into the current discussion.
Really damn dude how come it changed ? Did the masacres stop ? off course it fits in this discussion about gun violence

I'm pretty sure Trump has a permit to carry; I don't like the guy but no reason to think he isn't a responsible gun owner.
I'd be surprised if that's true...or if he's ever even touched a gun. I think he's said he carries as a way to pander to gun lovers.
Why would he need to carry?  He is a ton of security hovering around him who do the carrying for him.

Someone that says, “I could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and get away with it,” you consider a “responsible” gun owner?

gonna take a guess and say its because of failures in process before dude bought his rifle. Like if what was supposed to happen did in fact happen, he wouldnt have been able buy from a licensed dealer with all the red flags ....

This red flag stuff is just a rouse to delay an assault weapon ban and gun registration.  I agree with red flag procedures in conjunction with bans/licensing but on their own they are a joke.

I’m absolutely for due process. That’s why I support impeachment, regardless of how long it takes. Regarding red flag laws, I think they can be written in such a way and be administered whereas the “erroneous” reporting can be mitigated and those who are found to have done so, should go to jail. That said, it should be 5 years for someone convicted of “swatting.” That shit has the potential to be deadly.

“Responsible” gun owner? And add door to door fundraising to the list of activities where you have to worry about being shot.
