I'm looking for a 98 Hartford poster if any other great members want to help me out. I'd gladly pay the original price since anything more apparently is not acceptable here.
Man, now you're really just asking to be "Lost Dogged" So here it is $20 for a bouncy ball? Seriously?!? If you been on lost dogs you should know if you ask too high a price for something you get called out. And you should know these go for nothing, maybe postage or a sticker. It would be like asking $5,000 for a Benny. So there you have it.
So $1200 for a Benny is okay though? It's only a slightly heavier petroleum byproduct. But because people pay, its ok.
Why not the same for a bouncy ball? If people are paying that price, why shouldn't I ask for it too?
The great thing about sales here is that if it's priced out of the market, then it will just not sell. I'm fine with this, but with people constantly "lost dogging" (TM PENDING) others people posts, it just gets a bit annoying.
I believe the reason this sets off... is its just so nickel and dimey. $20? I could see hardship, but why spend $90 on the mystery box you got it in then?
If you traded this for, say a bootleg worth $20 or more nobody would bat an eye.
(not necessarily the thread starter specifically) There just seems to be a cartel of sellers here who try to max out every chance while avoiding ebay fees. LD isnt supposed to be about maxing out IMO.

The only rule is no auctions. If people wanna sell for face or for max value, who are we to say there wrong? Just like with ebay if you don't like the price you don't click buy.

You guys understand that the way around the auction rule is to list a bouncy ball for $20. Right?
Hint: He did not sell his bouncy ball for $20. He sold it to the person that offered him a decent price. Don't get hung up on this stuff. Let people do what they want and you are free to ignore what you want. No skin off your back (and who is out skinning backs anyway?).
Congrats to the seller and the proud new owner. 2 happy people in a 2 person transaction. That seems sufficient.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

How do you know what I sold it for? Did you hack my PP account?
I have no reason to lie about my sale..It was on the up and up and it sold for my asking price.
And although there are alot of comments in this thread, I don't believe you will see me bumping this.

I agree. On a personal note I think $20 for a bouncy ball is utterly preposterous, but at the same time if somebody wants to pay that price and feels it's fair, rock on.
What's preposterous is how people put there nose were it doesn't belong. This site has become a joke anymore. The guy listed a price. If you don't like it move on and read the next one. I don't get why people think there allowed to tell others what's ok to do with there belongs. I made a few trades/sales with the OP and he's been nothing but cool and fair to me.
I'm sure that folks on here have paid a lot of $$$ for a colored version of a vinyl that they are already own on a different color vinyl and on CD and digital. That is more stupid than buying a bouncy ball. At least with the bouncy ball there is only one. It isn't like he bought the Blue Fixer for $500.
Just so we all know, I paid $20 for a bouncy ball. Yep. I have wanted one for a while, Could not buy a mystery box. as I do not live in the U.S. Have seen the odd one given away, but never could pull that off. Seller was good to deal with, but i do feel a little sorry for the OP as his for sale thread has turned for the worse. I can't believe how much shit people are giving the OP. Listed his merch, posted a price, little high, maybe but I wanted one, can't do any shows in NA or Europe, so I though I would splash out, and spend $20 on something that i wanted.
Now just have to list one of my safe travels key chain, and maybe a pop up Benny, to pay for the shipping of said bouncy ball )
People here get really too excited about $ what I spend on shit is my business, if I post something which I did a few weeks back, and got called out, but it sold, I'm happy and the buyer is happy. I wish people didn't feel the need to be "price police" done, have fun, buy whatever you want, you might be a multi millionaire, so 20 bucks to you might be 20 cents to me. It's all relative we all perceive money differently.

I think most people become price police because they don't want other fans with less knowledge ripped off, not so much to bash the seller, that's just my opinion though...
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?
BTW - I have a bouncy ball for trade or sale. I will accept $1200 for this slightly softer round petroleum byproduct or $20 or a best offer or a trade.
