Did anyone receive a contest email from Ten Club via zendesk?

    Nope.
  • SaravaSarava Posts: 2,026
Well at least they were easy on our wallets this month. Speaking of which - I wonder if there will be a discount for black Friday again, like last year? There's a few things I've wanted to buy, but have waited on in case they do that again.
  • $8.99 is a lot of shipping for a pin or a patch, but at least the tote and the lapel pin were $15 each at the shows instead of 10 now on here.

    I purchased 4 patches, 1 pin & 2 tote bags today.
    Shipping & Handling .. $20.99 to Canada. :(

What can I do? There is nothing I can say. I have to pay the price if I want my Pearl Jam goodies. I just wish that the 10club were able to offer various shipping options & not just give us one flat rate. I understand they are using UPS. And thank lord when those items ship to Canada, Canada Post mails out our 10club items, not UPS Canada.

There must be a cheaper international shipping service. A cheaper shipping option from UPS. Because this is madness!!!

very disappointed it doesnt say my name anymore when I enter the contest...

Anyways, I punted on the merch this round. I own way too many PJ related clothing items, and a pin/patches will just add to my clutter.

I passed as well. I'll save my cash for trying to find some items from St. Paul.

I often wonder why the 10c doesn't use USPS (or what a number of other online retailers shy away from USPS). I'm guessing the advantage of UPS is that UPS will pick up the packages. I'm not sure if USPS has any service like that. Thus it could prevent the 10c from having to truck everything down to the post office.

Either way it would cheaper and faster if they mailed everything via USPS (regular old US Postal Service). The simplest and cheapest choice is the obvious one.

4 patches and 1 pin... $38.99 - seems pricey but I'm addicted to the patches. Keep em coming 10 club.

I wish this band released music and toured with the same vigor and frequency that they released merch.

They just released an album and toured for a whole year.
1 album since 2009 and an absurd amount of tshirts and merch in between. I remember Binaural-era there were like, five different tshirts for sale on the website. I guess it just cheapens what Pearl Jam is to me when it seems they're so interested in the merchandising side of things. Oh well, I'll continue to vote with my wallet and not buy this stuff. Just my opinion.
When they release an album people clamour for more merch, and when they release more merch, people clamour for more music. They really can't win. People always want what they can't have.

I think they should do away with the newsletter every month. It's basically just an excuse to release a load of good or bad merch every month now. To me it seems they are releasing some merch just for the sake of it and some people here just buy the merch for the sake of buying it. Crazy.

There was a while that the boards were asking for more merch. Or a better selection. And for a long time PJ did not have nearly as much stuff for sale as most big bands. And they still have less than a lot out there, DMB, Phish, even Springsteen to name a few.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...

Really whats on their mind when they put out an album and then allign a tour behind it?

PJ does many things with a purpose and wink and nod sometimes. Its not about purchasing merch but celebrating those albums. Really so why didn't they do vitalogy or riot act then? There was a purpose.
