Or black or purple!!!! I do like roses.. only the very dark coloured ones though. But NOT on V day... too much of a cliche!

Yep, I'd agree.. I like the bright ones though, not white cos any imperfection shows up.

  • I've nothing against chocolates ANY day of the year though :)

Mmm... I wonder what my housemates are at tonight. I know one of them has a girlfriend and the other two I THINK have somebody on the go. I hope I get the house to myself so I can cosy up with a bottle of wine and a box of chocs all to me :):) and watch something soppy.

It's such a girlie thing but being given flowers does just make you smile. In first year at Uni a few of us were out at a bar and one of my mates gave me the carnation out of the vase on the table and I did the 'that's so sweet I never get given flowers' ... a few weeks later it was my birthday and he turned up with a bunch of flowers and told me a guy on the tube had given him them asking if he knew me as it was my birthday and would he mind givng them to me ... the next year more flowers and "you'll never believe it but I bumped into the same guy on the tube and he asked me to pass on your birthday flowers" ... he did the same thing every year at Uni for my birthday and still think of it as one of the sweetest things a friend has done for my birthday :)
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Awww :o that's so cute. Really really thoughtful :)

I always used to hate flowers and I still don't think I'd like to get a bunch of red roses cos it's like there's not much thought gone in there. But I've got flowers at other times and it was only really the tulips that made me go 'awwwwwwww' :)

:( my sister just called from the airport ... she is moving overseas today. don't know the next time I'll see her or my nephew or when I'll get to meet my new niece/nephew.

Red just saw on the Euro spares thread someone with two seated for Wembley for sale. I know siochan would prefer standing but this could be an idea. Are you in myspace/messenger contact?
