Just looked at Melb 2 ... not a setlist for the greatest hits crowd :D

EDIT: seen as her pics aren't to be studio set up and going with the song title theme how about "Everyday People" ... I'm not very good at this :o

    That's good thinking!!!!

Setlist I could do with, though! But did you read that wash was on the encore setlist but it was replaced with leash!! I LOVE wash.......

Speaking of wash... 'bye V!!!! Get cracking... you're not gonna want a stinky swede in your house!

I know.. .not easy... she doesn't want to use her name as is xxxx photography (boring), she doesn't really want to use the word photography either... To give you an example, one of the names she thought of was 'Shades of Grey' because she is mainly doing B&W... But she was concerned that it would put off the more commercial stuff like wedding people, etc. should she need their business! For her more 'arty' pics, the name is fine but for the more commercial???????

Howdy! 3 of my good friends are photographers... successful ones at that, who do a lot of work for big publications, artists/actors and have there work in many top galleries. They all go by their name. The thing is, as a photographer you're not selling a product or service as such... You're selling yourself, your personal creativity, your unique way of seeing the world through a hole - so it's important the client instantly knows you're the one taking the photos. The other reason, is that a lot of work comes from recommendations and having your work seen. This is why you need the credit to be in your name rather than an abstract company name. It gives you more recognisable exposer. Just a thought.

fucker... i was just about to say that  :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Yep. The person I know who does a lot of magazine, advertising work and also exhibits just uses their name for the same reasons.

Good thinking Keith but she thought about all of that. First, her name is boring (she says) and looking in the phone book there are sooooo many photographers with the name or name photography, etc. She thought she would just be one more. OK.. if you have a name like Ansel Adams.. that's something else.. But I do get your point that she is selling herself and her talent and, if she was selling her paintings, it would be under her name but.... she just doesn't like that thought.. I guess she thinks she wants something to reflect her vision... until, of course, the day she has an exhibition in a top gallery, then she'll go by name!

She can always change her name to Esmerelda Biggleswade-Smithers then.
