I've got the Avocado Lite, I think it's cool. Riot Act is nice aswell, maybe a bit too dark sometimes (eyes hurt from trying to see the difference in colours. )

Inspiration needed!!!!

Hey guys.. a friend of mine is starting her photography business. First official and paying job yesterday!

SHE NEEDS HELP IN FINDING A COOL NAME FOR HER BUSINESS. She has a couple in mind, but I won't tell you so there no 'influence'. Though she will be doing colour photography, her main thing is black and white. Portraits, families, etc. but not in the conventional 'studio' set up. Mainly outdoors (weather permitting in Ireland!) and as little posed as possible. She has had a number of enquiries so she is very positive about the way things will go but.. with the name of the business, she doesn't want to scare away the 'wedding photo' crowd away in case she needs the money!

So... all you very creative people.... find me some good names. One or two words better.....

I have a couple of friends that do photography one it is their full time job and they just use their name another it is more of a side job hoping for it to become more full time they used alliteration a p word pictures

I know.. .not easy... she doesn't want to use her name as is xxxx photography (boring), she doesn't really want to use the word photography either... To give you an example, one of the names she thought of was 'Shades of Grey' because she is mainly doing B&W... But she was concerned that it would put off the more commercial stuff like wedding people, etc. should she need their business! For her more 'arty' pics, the name is fine but for the more commercial???????

I don't think she should worry about a name being a problem. As long as she is in the telephone directory under photographer and a google search brings her up for wedding photgrapher in XXX don't think it will make any difference So if she likes 'Shades of Grey' then go with that.

I think people just want to see a professional looking website and be able to look through a gallery/portfolio on the website.

umm dad is tiny bit better, they operated on saturday removed a disc (sorry if i already said cant remember who i've told) and put in a cage which the bone will grow around , he feels brighter which is great and is phoning my mum once a day so she can up date us , the phisyo's saw him again and said they felt impovement when manipulating him , so yeah its good . they need to find the right place to send him now for long term recovery we are hoping Oddstock will take him as its nr. Sailsbury so closer to Hampshire and me but they have a long waiting list . thanks for asking xx
