Makes sense, remember that the Italian shows will not be available for download....

thats not true dude.... they are listed in the 2006 Europe bootlegs application... initially they were missed off but that all appears to have been sorted out! :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Oy Oy! Just got back from Bologna. We had it large! :D I just need to peruse the set lists of Paris and Bologna now as I don't remember much about them (Too much beer and wine).
The only two downsides to the whole affair were that the driver of the touring bus said I look like Eric Bristow - that's two people that have said that now after Dunkman - and I just left my two concert posters on the fucking train.

Hi Byrnzie :) Glad you had a great time. You decided to come back on schedule then. There seems to be some talk on the Paris thread that the crowd was a bit rough :o How did you find it compared to say Reading?

:( Can't believe you lost the posters.

How is the tour bus looking at this stage? Take it Keith is having a great time.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Hi Byrnzie!!!! Had a great time, I see!

Bummer about the posters... checked out 'lost and found' (or whatever its called in England) yet?

EDIT: Byrnzie... post your fanviews on the concert... nobody has yet and we're all dying to know!

Hey! I was seriously considering staying there and going to Verona, but I just upped and left this morning. I would love to go to the Pistoia show though as it's outdoors in a town square with just 3000 capacity, so I'm gonna check to see if I can get the time off work. (I can't go sick again). The crowd at Paris and Bologna were a bit rowdy. I ws completely drenched after both shows. I almost got into a row at both shows aswell. I spilt my pint over 3 fellas who were sitting down at the front before the Paris show, which they weren't too pleased about :D And I was getting some grief from about 10 people last night when I tried getting back up to the front after going to the toilet. I had to threaten to butt some fella who wouldn't stop gobbing off. He shut up after that though. But all in all both shows were great. The tour bus is fine. We were all up until the small hours of this morning drinking beer and wine and listening to Keith on the guitar. I'm gutted about the posters though. I've called lost property but haven't had any joy.

It was purely for financial reasons. I figured that getting back from Verona would be a tad on the dear side, and a bit difficult. And Verona's gonna be all seated, which put me off a bit.

    Anyway, check out some pics....

Cheers again for the mag Casey. I didn't take it with me as I didn't wanna lose it or damage it.
It was nice to see Italy as I've not been before. Keith and me spent a day in Florence before heading up to Bologna, and I got quite a taste for the place. I reckon I'll go back next year and travel around the country a bit.
Both shows were pretty mental. I'll have to check out the boots as my memory of them both is a bit fuzzy.

Not that one is needed but that must be an excuse for a celebratory libation ;)

EDIT: makes you smile when something nice like that happens! Random acts of kindness from strangers.

Indeedy! Although it annoys me that the people at the station said a few hours ago that they'd gone out to look for it where I said I'd left it. I reckon they didn't bother. Still, fair play to whoever handed it in. I was kicking myself over that.
Losing things seems to be a habit of mine lately. I left my passport on the plane on arrival at Paris aswell on Monday and only realised when going through passport control. There was a moment when I thought I'd be having to return to England. :o

Oh and I forgot to mention that at the Paris show Ed looked at me and held my gaze for about 5 seconds. (Maybe he was wondering if I was Eric Bristow? :D )
  • chimechime Posts: 7,839
    Nice pics :)

Please tell me you weren't wearing the jacket in that Paris crush :o looks like some of the people in the pic of the crowd were a little worried.

so hot Mike felt the need to go topless :D
