Good morning all. I have a couple questions should anyone know.

I've been to Dublin before so I have a rough idea of the city itself. Judging by the map on the Depot's website, it doesn't look like it is too far from the city centre. Does anyone know how far it would be on foot and/or by bus?

Also, does anyone know if there are lockers at either the airport of the main bus station for bags and such? I'd be staying one night and not anywhere specifically. I'd rather not take my backpack to the show with me (assuming I get a ticket).

Thanks in advance for any help. :-)

Apparently it's about a 15 minute walk to the Point from the city centre. I don't anything about lockers. HH may know.

I think he's off to Drogheda. I don't know where that is. Somewhere in Ireland  So you'll have to be at the pub in the afternoon to avoid missing him. I know HH want's to queue for 8 hours but those with 10club tickets can just walk in 15 minutes earlier than everyone else anyway, so there's no point queuing. But then it's up to you.

    right.. well that sucks. :o

well, I don't have a 10c ticket so I don't care bout that.. lol. and if Helen wants to be in the queue for hours and hours I think we should let her. :D no matter how weird we think it is. :p:D  :D

fecking hell! I noticed you said the pub.. does that mean that there's some certain pub people are going to or is that still undecided? :D:)

Al is going home straight after gig and he wanted to meet Hells... but Hells isnt meeting up with us pre-gig so it meant Al wouldnt be able to have a pint with her...

we aint stopping her.... thing is she has a 10club ticket anyway... so quite why she is queuing for 10hours defies belief.. but hey... i care not :)

Good morning everyone! Gray today but at least not so tempted to just chill and do nothing!

Drogheda - my friend used to live there before she moved to Annagassan! Still don't know where that is though :D:D

    hey R!! :)

I'm glad today's gonna be a nice one (here :D ) cause I think today's gonna be the last time I get to see one of my best friends before he needs to go to the army (which is Monday :( ) and I'd hate it if the weather would be as gloomy as I might be later tonight. :o
aww, I don't want him to go!! :(

Wasn't Drogheda also the name of a dog from a space movie? Battlestar Gallactica or The black hole, or something?

...before he needs to go..? Is this by choice or do you have a military service in Finland? Is it for a long time? Hopefully he won't be sent anywhere nasty and can stay in Finland!

he is getting a lift back to that place ive never heard of and his lift is leaving straight after the gig :(

I care not one iota about what she herself does... but i care a lot about weird things people do and i like to try and comprehend it... but in this instance i just cant... as i said earlier, it defies belief... but if it was anyone else doing the same thing i would still be doing the same line of questioning!!

I just dont see the point of standing in queues as we dont actually collect our wristbands until a certain point in the day and after that we get early entry anyway... and i can run faster than Helen so i'll be up the front before her anyway :p

i admit it... if i dont see the logic and reason behind something then i'll question it to death... its a flaw in my character but i still have to do it... its compulsive....and i just dont see the logic this time  and nor has she tried to explain it :)

compulsory military service- yes. :( well, you can choose either that (6-12 months) or then some sort of civilian work (I don't have a proper word for it in English..) where you work without getting paid (I think) in the library or sumthin. (it's longer than military service) or then you can decline from both but that means jail. oh, you can be released if you're mad too. or in a really bad condition due to illness or something.

nah, he won't be sent anywhere really as it's only training and we're not at war now.. but still, I don't get to see him. :(
