What is Alive??? I'm really interested in sharks - did a shark dive in South Africa a couple of years back and while I love the creatures they scare the shite out of me... actually 'love' isn't really the right word, ya can't love a big killing machine like that, but I think fearfully respect is more apt... ya have to respect something which humans don't have a chance against.

I saw a clip on some dodgy website last night called Heaven666 where some fella gets a big chunk bitten out of his leg by a shark. It was pretty gruesome. I'll forward it to you later.

Yeah. My plane gets in to Dublin at 1:30 so I'll hopefully be in the bar at 1:31pm. At least I'll try to be. I'm meeting dbk and his mate there for a quick beer before heading into town. I'll see ya there then. :D

Alive is a show which has been on channel 4 on Sunday nights for the last few weeks.

Each week is based on a true story and it's a reconstruction and interview with someone who survived in extreme circumstances. The first was based in the snow, the 2nd about how a guy survived for other month in the rainforest and last nights was about a guy who crashed a microlite in the middle of the desert....they're really good.

Yeah, I think you have to respect sharks or indeed any fearsome animals. They may be deadly but theres also something incredibly beautiful about them, the way they move, they way they hunt etc. I love my animal....in the appropriate way
cool thanks! I must check it out then!

Count me in. I love a sausage! Braughing's sausages of Cuffley, Hertfordshire! Yum Yum! :D I like Tesco's apple and herb too. And spicy sausages are also yummylicious!! I'm feeling hungry now!!

    just saw this:

    Chocalate sausages

Who makes the best sausages? Tell us now by voting for Britain's Best Banger! and you could win the ultimate sausage lover's day trip! Vote now!
The 3rd Annual Bratwurstmeisterschaft (German Sausage Championships) were held in Berlin a couple of days ago.

Each year Germany's top butchers gather together to compete for the prize of Bratwurstmesiter (Sausage Master).

This years championship was, won by a chocalate sausage, created by J Staroske. He said that he had many sleepless nights trying to come up with an original idea for the contest. Well original is certainly what he ended up with. The sausage he finally created contained chocolate chip fragments and orange peel. Staroske described the taste of the sausage as "surprisingly different".

Unfortunately not that many of the visitors to the championships were as impressed with his creation. But as the Sausage Master he probably couldnt give a sausage!

    Weird!!
