After months and months of doubt about whether i'd actually be able to go to the Dublin gig, I found out when my resit exam is and it's after Dublin, so I can go!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :D:D
This is very good for my happiness, but veeeeeeery bad for my bank account.
that's SUPER!
ooh, I know.. my account is begging me not to go as I pretty don't have any money left afterwards. but I don't care really. :D
"Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."
Not bad. Went to the Fruitstock festival on Saturday and got very drunk. I'm just sleepwalking through my Monday as per usual.
oh right, it is Monday today. I completely forgot.

Two weeks and I'll be in Dublin, queueing outside The Point.
....okay, that last bit may be a lie, 48 hours before doors open may be a little premature
Hope everyone is feeling as excited......it's been too long since the Astoria.
Though that said, I was just thinking the other day about how it had been a near six year wait to see PJ again before London and now I get to see them twice in the space of a few months which made me smile....a lot
A democracy on paper, apparently well ordered, regularly subverted by irrational chaos.
Manchester - 4/6/2000
London - 20/4/2006
Dublin - 23/8/2006
London - 18/6/2007
New York City - 24/6/2008
New York City - 25/6/2008 - we will be "what is up" New York
Manchester - 18/8/2009
I can't believe we haven't gotten the email about the details yet, do the 10c usually leave it this close to the nail?
PEACE
I actually don't think there will be an email. I think it will just be expected that all members know that tickets can be picked up from the box office from noon onward the day of.
‘Great list byrnzie!! I cant believe people are letting the angry rants of a tiny minority make them think they will be racially abused. England and scotland fans play rugby matches in dublin every 2 years and their fans walk around in their countries jerseys and there is nothing but a good atmosphere and friendly banter. If a competive rugby match does not bring racial hatred then i dont think a pearl jam concert will!!!’
Anyway there are fucking assholes everywhere. I somehow doubt any of those who were bitching are old enough to be allowed go to the gig anyway. Besides, any proper fan would have done absolutely everything to ensure they got tickets. Mine are safely locked away – when I collected them Saturday the guy told me there were about 80 people queuing at 11pm the night before  and realistically how many people ARE travelling over????? Even if it’s up to a thousand, that leaves 7000 left. I’d rather there was no support at all.
cool to hear u got tickets, ur the first irish person i heard of who got them! (seriously its a shame) but if you hear of any available tickets let me know please, some of us who tried everything we could were unlucky enough not to get any tickets! check ebay if you dont believe that touts raider ticketmaster for the dublin show!!
Good morning everyone! As the time gets closer (counter please Stoney ) new names are appearing on the thread! If you new ones are coming to dublin, get yourselves on the blog, get your travel details on the Dublin Schedules thread (if you want to!) and your real name on the Dublin my name is... thread like that we all know who were are!
Some without tickets... don't despair. They're starting to crop up....
I'm getting really excited (aren't we all!). I'm flying to dublin in 14 days!!!! Whooopppiiieeeeee :D:D

I count 20 Irish on the list for this thread alone. As far as tickets being available, scroll back through the pages of this thread as someone had a 10cub ticket to sell a few pages back.
‘Not real sure how driving on the left will work out, and sitting on the right, and changing gears with the left hand....LOL....it should be loads of fun’
 Oh fuck!!!!!!! Thought you said you could drive anything?
Anyway… 50 pages of pure shite – could someone not have warned me?
*runs like fuck*
