well, that's nice to hear. :D oh work.. I was supposed to work today and help out my mum to unpack the grocery load that was supposed to arrive this morning (my mum works in a grocery store) but it never arrived. so I just sat around for two and a half hours and ate an ice cream. :D

I have The Who on Sunday :D:D:D with Dave and stoney.

Al I also have Chilis and although I enjoy the shows I don't tend to come out with the post gig euphoria I get with other bands :o

I'm still floating on my Foos cloud and it will carry my to the Wireless festival on Sunday. Chilis doesn't seem to be the same.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Yeah Chimey, any time I have seen the Foo's I've been well impressed. They're superb live. Chilis.....yeah not like back in the day. Saw them in 93 and it was unbelieveable. Maybe its just me getting older and expecting more from my gigs. Enjoy the Who at the weekend....can't wait to see them next month. :D

Yeah the only problem is that today is the longest day of the year and then we are on the descent to darkness :( :( :(

But before then I have The Who, Bell X1, the lovely Gemma Hayes, Rodrigo Y Gabrielle and then two nights with Pearl Jam.....oh yeah and the Chillis but seen them a number of times live and have to admit they're usually a bit of a disappointment. Maybe its the fact that Anthony can't sing (which he admits himself ;) ).
Have ya noticed wolfmother have been added to the line up? I'm not overly bothered about the Chillis...

I'm good stoney - gonna visit a friend at the weekend who I haven't seen in a while and we're gonna go knacker drinking :) . Haven't done that since I was around 12, lol.

    lol. everyone's disappearred. :D

today on the bus I realised that I've got this (bad?) habit of kinda pouting my mouth when I'm alone. making me look somewhat pissed off. :D

oh and btw, thanks Helly for enquiring for a place for me to stay in England but I've come to the conclusion that I'm just gonna fly straight to Edinburgh, makes things a lot easier. :)

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

No problem - sorry it didn't work out.

Yeh, I have a really sour face on me the whole time - even when I'm happy. Random strangers come up to me and tell me to cheer up and I'm like 'but it's my birthday' . I think too much and I strain my face when I'm doing it, maybe.

besides, it wasn't really the city of Liverpool I was gonna go to Liverpool for.. it was just a nice frosting on the cake.

Hmm... well I might let eMMI take over here :)

That's very nice of you to offer Dave - thank you.

Al, I know, the name's shite, I was a bit embarrassed going in asking for it, lol. But they're pretty good ya know. Towards the end of the album it can get a bit self (what's the word? Not absorbed but something) but if ya listen to the first 4 or 5 you'll be thinking 'oh my god this album is amazing'

Audit on at the moment - please don't let them come near me please don't let them come near me... I think I need to go home sick :o

Edinburgh is a fantastic city, espicially around august. Everything is more expensive with the festival on but there are so many great shows you can go to.....you'll love it :D I've been the last two years in a row. I love the Comedy shows. If he's there at the same time check out jason byrne....the best irish comedian :D

Lol, no I do... all the time. Sometimes to tell me to cheer up and then I smile and they say 'that's better' and other times to ask for directions quite a bit - so I dunno if I look really sulky or really approachable  I'm going with the latter for now.

Edinburgh is a great city easy to walk around, great restaurants and bars etc. I used to live nearby during all my high school years and my sister still lives there.

A few links that may be helpful.

    http://www.timeout.com/travel/edinburgh

    http://www.edinburgh.pubs.freeuk.com/links.html

    http://www.edinburghguide.com/society/food/index.php

For nice places to drink I like the Grassmarket and Stockbridge areas. Slightly more touristy is the Royal Mile.

There are lots of good restaurants in the area too.

Shopping - the main shopping street is Princes' Street, parrallel to this run Rose Street and George Street (slightly more upmarket).

Slightly more unusual shops you can try Grassmarket, Cockburn Street and Victoria Street areas.

And relaxing, always nice to sit in Princes' Street Gardens or take a walk up to Arthur's Seat.

EDIT: Didn't realise you would be there in August if so you will need

    FUN - http://www.edfringe.com/
