Probably not. For those that didn't read IAmMine's threads she has to have the interprepters provided by the venue. Therefore they may not know the songs, have done research on the band etc. Believe last I heard she had an amazing interpreter for the first gig, terrible interpreters second gig and I haven't heard about the lady in the photo.

Saw this update the other day mentions that she will be put at the back in Detroit (where the picture came from) and hopes she gets a good interpreter

I think that IS the girl from touring band. Well IAmMine's husband usually signs for her at concerts but she feels bad that he has to do this so this year she wants him to really enjoy them and get her own interpreter. But the ones the venues provide are just general signers and wouldn't be fans or anything - so they just learn the words leading up to the concerts - sounds pretty crap really!

Yeah, I read IamMines story yesterday evening about what happened. I saw Ed do that on the Touring band dvd during given to fly.
As a side note, I love listening to Ed talking during shows. He really brings the audience closer and it helps to individualise every show. Some bands will just walk on, knock out their songs and leave, but Ed really put's in the work and prepares to make every evening special. It plays a big part in why I love 'em!

Finally found the right thread http://forums.pearljam.com/showthread.php?t=193723 doesn't sound like she was from the video and she didn't want to go when they wanted her on stage

If you search for threads started by IamMine there are a few to do with interpreters / setlists etc. She is very good at answering any questions asked (this question among them) and you'll find the answer in her own words.
