It's normal for your calf to ache today Dunk.. Your muscle has been put under extreme tension. If the pain persists for more than a couple of days or if you get sharp pains that move up your leg, see a doctor right away.

i was lying on the couch on Saturday morning with my wee-est one watching SpongeBob and i did a yawn and i just went into calf spasm... i couldnt reach my foot to do the old footie trick of pulling the foot back to relieve the spasm as i had Maisy on me... eventually she got off due to me wailing and doing heavy breathing shit cos the pain was that bad... eventually it just went away but i knew i'd be sore later on.. but not this... feels like my left calf has played 90mins for the first time in 10 years.

i used to get cramp all the time in my sleep.. always the calves?!?!

looked it up earlier on wikipedia and number 1 cause of cramp is "over stretching of calf muscles", 2nd was "build of lactic acid" and 3rd was "being awesomeness encapsulated"

i know it was number 1, but i've convinced meself it was number 3
