so this time last year i was on the train... nervous and excited at the same time.... ticket was sellotaped to my inner thigh for security.... i thought about doing a Billie Holiday with it for extra safety, but decided against that for hygene reasons.

i now have the same excitement for the Wembley gig... :):):)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Please, no mention of Wembley here. This is an 'Astorians-to-talk-about-The-Astoria-only' zone.

    "Wembley!" Phhh!

Nervous and excited summed my state up too.
I knew it was gonna be good, but had no idea it was gonna be just a magical, momentous occasion. As has been said, I've seen them before a good few times, but (I truly doubt) nothing will ever beat the energy and intimacy of the Astoria! :)

There's no-one round here who's name sounds even remotely like Dawn I'm afraid. :(
I could be up at the crack of Kwon se Hoon though?

Not just tights.. can be used for anything that is sheer, delicate and light (mainly fabrics though), also cobwebs.....

Enough for your literacy lesson today..... YAY! Astoria!

    Happy anniversary everyone :)

I have that astoria feeling again today and it's great :) . Thought about it on the bus this morning - I was on the train from airport at that time. Thought about it at around 9.20 - I was probably just after meeting Barbara, Conguita and others around that time. Right now, I'm guessing I could have been introducing myself to Barry and Steve :)

Ah the memories are just flooding back :o

ok, here's something weird that happened on the bus on my way into work this morning...
i was listening to some random music on my ipod and this song came on

soulsavers feat. mark lanegan - revival

Said 'gonna be a revival tonite' oh
    Wanna see a revival yeah
    Gonna be a revival tonite
Lord let it be a revival yeah
    Forgive what I have done
It means my soul survival oohh
    I need you so insane
    pouring into my suffering oh
Why am I so blind with my eyes wide open? ooh
Trying get my hands clean between your hand
    Wanna see a revival tonite
Lord let it be a revival yeah
Need to see a revival tonite oh
    Wanna see a revival oh
Why am I so blind with my eyes wide open? yeah
    Now I need someone
When the start might be done oh
    I need you so insane
    pouring into my suffering
    Wanna see a revival tonite
Lord it needs to be a revival

and guess what came on next?
present tense from the astoria boot...
    must have been a sign...
it's a good thing that everyone around me was probably way to tired to notice the creepy smile on my face :)

More terrifying than meeting Dunk?! Did you get your space held?

Hopefully you'll hold me a space in the queue outside Wembley!
