    so this time last year i was on the train... nervous and excited at the same time.... ticket was sellotaped to my inner thigh for security.... i thought about doing a Billie Holiday with it for extra safety, but decided against that for hygene reasons.

    i now have the same excitement for the Wembley gig... :):):)
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Nervous and excited summed my state up too.
    I knew it was gonna be good, but had no idea it was gonna be just a magical, momentous occasion. As has been said, I've seen them before a good few times, but (I truly doubt) nothing will ever beat the energy and intimacy of the Astoria! :)

    Not just tights.. can be used for anything that is sheer, delicate and light (mainly fabrics though), also cobwebs.....

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY EVERYONE :D

    when looking through my drawers this morning for something to wear..some blue caught my eye.. and the choice was suddenly clear..so I'm wearing my Astoria t-shirt at work today :p

    was soooo nervous about this time last year...excited AND scared..

    Happy anniversary everyone :)

    I have that astoria feeling again today and it's great :) . Thought about it on the bus this morning - I was on the train from airport at that time. Thought about it at around 9.20 - I was probably just after meeting Barbara, Conguita and others around that time. Right now, I'm guessing I could have been introducing myself to Barry and Steve :)

    Ah the memories are just flooding back :o

    if you follow my link and click on the "pearl jam @ the astoria, london" set you can see all my pictures... i didn't take too many of the queue although i still had my camera then - bloody security...

    :eek: I think it was round about now when I left the queue to go meet dunk off the train. Leaving the queue was one of the most terrifying things I EVER did :eek: :o
