Damn,I can't get away from those red shirts and crazy Cardinals fans.I live in the spring training home of the red birds and deal with the mid westerner pilgrimage every Feb/March.Now it's time to invade your city, drink your beer, rock out and drive around aimlessly like a tourist.......I can't wait.

Struck out for my home show. Still get to go on a friend's ticket but looking for a single GA for a friend that I'd told I'd take if any happen to be floating out there. Shot in the dark I know, but gotta try.

You will really like St. Louis. Great city with great people. And PJ really seems to enjoy playing there. They've put on some awesome concerts in St. Louis! I hope you have a great time!

I got GA last night!! so pumped!! Will be my first experience that I have a good spot. There is a chance I'll have an extra single - I am not sure if my gf or brother will be able to make the trip (we are coming from Atlanta - and my brother and I went to Wrigley last year, so his 'airfare pj budget' is empty). I'll know closer to August and can hook up anyone that is in need.

Some of the longer set lists on the EV and previous PJ tours have been in St. Louis, they always tear it up here.

There is nothing on that side of the border except for a tiny town called "Marshall". You'd be better off just driving an extra 10 minutes and staying in Terre Haute, Indiana. There are plenty of hotels right of I-70.

I would suggest out of the 20 that are right off the interstate - go with the Drury Inn, Holiday Inn or Residence Inn.

I'll be there with my 15 year old son. It's his first show. I'm so excited to be bringing him. His favorite band used to be The Beatles, but now it's PJ. He's going to freak out!
I'm a St Louis native but now I live on the east side in IL, but not in East St Louis!

A walk from the Ballpark Hilton to Scottrade would likely be about 15 minutes or you could hop on the Metro (~$2.50 each way) for a stop from the ballpark itself.

No more than a 10 minute walk. A lot of the Scottrade parking garages are located right there so they'll be lots of people walking that way. Plus you'll be right near the new Ballpark Village, which I haven't been to, but is one of the few options as far as places to eat/drink beforehand. Washington Avenue is to the north and a neat district that's also within a tad longer walking distance from the Scottrade. There's also a few places scattered here and there, like Maggie O'Briens and the Schlafly Tap Room (not walkable from venue but less than 5 minute drive).

Pay not attention to the "most dangerous city." I've gone to hundreds of Blues games at the Scottrade and never had a problem (although car theft is huuuge and kind of a right of passage for most St. Louisians).

I only brought up the most dangerous stuff before the lottery, had to make my chances a little better

    :D

We had the Wishlist party at Maggie O'Briens last time. Awesome place.

I remember a show back in like 2000 or something, where this dad had brought his son about that age, and watching that kid experience PJ for the first time was almost as good as what was going on onstage. You'll both have an amazing time.
