I've 'liked' everything Muse has done, but the new album is a self-absorbed, pretentious mess.
I'm not that bothered about them, but Absolution is brilliant.
- the great Sir Leo Harrison
Origin isn't too bad, but the way Bellamy gasps for breath between EVERY fuckin' word makes me cringe somewhat.
Have fun though foxy! If it's up your street I'm sure you'll have a wicked time
and then wait 6 years...

Same. I reckon that weekend could be the highlight of the year, for me anyway
The Bible is full of lies - Stone is the leader of us all!
Did you read Kerrang!? Their write-up was better.

The pretty much kick the ass of any other British live act right now.
The new album is definitely a grower.....I think they've yet to release an album that could be called an out and out classic

The only band I actually like out of that lot is bloc party! what a rubbish line up.

The festival circuit this summer sucks. You've got bands headlining who normally play shows lasting 60-75 minutes and who have one or two albums under their belt. It's ridiculous.

Same as Oxegen here... all a load of gaybags!!

SMELL YER MA!
Oxegen hasn't announced it's Sunday headliner yet. I'm hoping PJ [Ha...] or Radiohead, but it'll probably be The Killers or someone.
Aerosmith, RHCP and Smashing Pumpkins are rumoured for Leeds and Reading along with the usuals crap English bands
Bloc Party and NOFX are the only bands confirmed so far for Reading and Leeds though it's pretty much common knowledge that the headliners are going to be Razorlight, Smashing Pumpkins and Red Hot Chili Peppers this year.

Definitely a highlight .. something will have to be super special to top that weekend
snow patrol and muse are "co headlining" the saturday at oxegen in ireland, and they have yet to announce the sunday headliner... so i guess pearl jam will still be rumoured...
as far as leeds/reading goes, razorlight headlining is a complete joke.
i'm happy though if the other 2 headliners turn out to the pumpkins and RHCP, two of my fave bands there.
i was originally hoping for metallica, RATM and pumpkins at leeds/reading :(

Absolutely agreed!!!!!!!
I cannot understand why RHCP is still an important band in most fans' opinion...they became pretty mediocre by BTW and SA albums...and Anthony's vocals are still getting worse and worse...THEY are absolutely overrated!!!
Eddie: Dublin & London
NO PJ FOR OXEGEN PLEASE
Eddie: Dublin & London
Haha the bit I've highlighted in bold made me chuckle
On the Muse theme also, their singer looks like a shrew

Rockin' out to Creadles
SHREW + RICHARD HAMMOND =
DR WHO oh yes
Matt Bellamy knows how to swing a guitar full circle, play it ("like a crazy motherf*cker" ) and have sex with it .. all at the same time  very talented guy
Seen Pearl Jam 4 times in London, once in Manchester, as well as an Eddie show at Hammersmith.
