New Album out in July and a tour. Tickets go on sale next week fr most of the shows. I'm probably gonna look at tix for the garden, but I don't wanna join his fan club ($50 fee) so I'll have to get tickets in the general on sale. Anyone else thinking of going? tickets come with a download of the album.

    2 options as i see it

    everyone who buys a tickets gets a free download copy of the new cd
    OR
    pay $4 to get a physical copy of the cd at time of order

    Love the samples. Seem more song based, as opposed the guitar based like MOJO.

    Petty was been great 2 out of the 3x I've seen him

    I tried to win tickets yesterday morning for their Toronto show on August 26, but I had no luck. Oh well.

    If you've never seen him, I highly advise checking him out. I've seen him 6-7 times.
    I paid 50 bucks to join his fan club and was able to score 4 tickets on the 7th row to the Houston show. The new album should be great

    I saw him close out the Boston Garden back in 1995 or 1996. It was a good but not great show.

    The Fenway ticket prices are out of my range this particular summer. Gonna have to skip.

    i got the three tracks and 1 track didnt load/unzip properly(corrupt file)

    I think mine tried to be delivered this morning but I didn't answer the doorbell. Did anyone else do the presale for tickets that came with the CD?

    I went to the bridge school benefit back in 94 with petty, pearl jam, young. Petty stole the entire fucken show. After seeing him I ended up going to 4 petty shows. The guys an amazing performer. And I will def be hitting up msg for petty!

    Yes. They send you an email with a download link.

    i ordered the tickets with the cd package
    i got the cd today in the mail
    can't wait to spin it

    i've listened to the new cd twice and i gotta say that some music takes a few spins to get...but this one didn't. which means it's gonna be huge for me. i love this cd already. it's got everything i need from tom and it showcases the heartbreakers talent so well. i can't describe it perfectly but this cd has a great vibe/attitude to it. shadow people is killa

    and then i was thinking about the concept of giving away a free copy of the new cd(download) with every concert ticket purchased. it's brilliant to do that. i have been to many shows of older acts where people just don't buy the new music...they just go for the old hits, which is lame(imo).

    anyways....tom's on top again and i am so f'n happy about it !!!!

    I was surprised they gave you your choice of how many CDs. I purchased 2 tickets so I could get 2 CDs.
